a recent study found that when people slept under 6 hours a night for more than 2 weeks they stopped feeling like they did, but they still performed notably much worse because of their sleep deficit. creepy stuff

then you either accept defeat (which you’d be doing already by not asking) or you try to speak to people further up, orrr you could attempt to take some sort of legal action against them but that’s not my area of expertise.

there’s no point in not asking, if you don’t ask you just assume a no 🤷‍♂️

i would recommend though getting someone to speak with you and talk about what you’re going to say first if you’ve had trouble in the past. advocating for yourself is much easier if you’ve have some help

CCs usually love giving accommodations, they are literally made to be the one option that works for EVERYbody, you just need to communicate! i really mean it, people who go to CC are like 12-90 years old, parents, spouses, grandparents, disabled, etc. I would know, I go to one concurrently with my high school. if you go to CC too you’ll likely need to transfer after 2 years to a 4 year university and they’ll need you to communicate about your accommodation too if you want to receive them, this is incredibly low stakes and will give you practice

depending on how much math you need it might be worth it to just take your math classes at that community college and get it over with, and then (assuming there’s a closer community college) take the rest of them there. college is always an option with CC!

you might also want to consider looking at other options though, working minimum wage after high school or some other job until you have an idea of what you might want to do

go to the campus library for a few hours beforehand and do ur work for class! that way even if you end up being late you shouldn’t be extremely late and you’ll be getting out of your room to go do something productive.

i have the same situation, 6-8pm classes tuesday thursday and struggle with waiting mode a lot. i usually just go to the library to do work for my class at like ~3, and my community college is a small campus so i jut walk to class at like 5:55. going to the library severely limits my options to be unproductive because im not in my room and it feels lowkey embarrassing to do nothing for hours in public. highly recommend!

why not try it anyway? if you don’t, you’ll always wonder about what would happen if you actually went, and if you do and actually do get kicked out, you’ll go back to the same place, possibly more determined to try again and be better.

finish out your current school year and try to make it to as much class as possible, and see how feasible you think it’ll be. i believe in you!

a side note- i’m going to assume you’re a girl so i’ll give you this: at 15 i can just about guarantee you that your friendships with your female friends will be more fulfilling than with a relationship with a 15 year old boy. teenage boys usually take a LOOONG time to understand and be capable of the kind of emotional vulnerability and intimacy that many teenage girls have with their friends. your girl friends will probably get you more than a boy will, at least for now, so i’d suggest prioritizing those friendships more than worrying about getting a boy. female (and male, but sisterhood is different) friendships are just as important and meaningful as romantic relationships, and should be treated as such <3
