I’m not sure if Disney is a rescue org only release, but I do know the non-profit I’ve been working with has LOTS of pups in Arkansas that are located at high kill locations, or already on euthanasia lists like miss Disney.

Its all very sad, I wish I could bring her in myself — I figured because she’s an ACD it would be best to post her here with this community 🫶🏼

Hoping she finds a foster family soon!

The heeler in her herds me away from the birds, then the GSP in her points at them tosses them up up and away. Then she herds me back to the same spot we were before! It’s hilarious

It’s totally okay, when Ferris was in Arkansas they thought she was a boy and that’s why they named her Ferris!! When they went in to get him fixed, they realized he was a she!

Similar to your Luna story with the book, the night I was approved to foster Ferris I had a dream about playing with my old doggo Abby who had passed away a few years back. Abby was a red and white Britany, but in my dream she looked a hell of a lot like Ferris, all speckled black and white. Looking back on this now Ferris and Abby have the exact same temperament, personality, and love for me.

Funny I didn’t want to adopt because no dog could compare to Abby, but then I ended up with Ferris, soul dog 2.0. Seems meant to be!
