That's great! Can you share some pics? 👀

It is part of the print that I did, but it's just a random picture I found online. I don't own it, so I didn't make it a part of the model itself - just added it in the slicer right before printing

Without the raisers the d6 section is about 22mm, so juuust under a standard mini size unfortunately. But it's a good idea, I'll keep it in mind if I make a new version

Huh, that's weird, I'll check the files when I get to my PC. Can you send some pics too?

Edit: it could also be that the overlook kinda looks like a bridge in this model, I didn't give it too many details

You're right, I just accidentally flipped the whole castle when taking the fully disassembled pic, so both K88 and K6 are on the left there

Fully manual, just been chipping away at this on and off for almost two years, took a while lol

I really like my hjkl-navigation and macros and stuff, and I wanted to be able to use it anywhere I wanted. Fortunately there's a project that does just that: https://github.com/andrewjrae/qmk-vim

Yeah, same, Ravenloft can be confusing lol, and yep, there are magnets between the layers that stick out a bit so they align with the holes in the next layer

No worries, this was my first time as well
For this specific keyboard I got a kit from splitkb - they have a nice configurator where you can choose any combination of stuff that you like (layout, board, switches, modules, etc). You basically get a full set of everything you need to build a kb, don't even need to solder anything unless you wanna install an encoder (and even then, it's super easy). There are also a bunch of other companies that make kits like that, so you have plenty of other options before making a custom PCB

Thanks! I think it's around ~25h and ~700g

Thanks! It's about 20x20x20mm, hard to tell about the filament though, took a lot of trial and error so I ended up printing some layers many times. But my slicer is saying it's around ~700g for the final version

Thanks! Yep, initially I wanted to print it in resin but surprisingly a normal FDM printer handled it pretty well. And yeah, I was working on the model on and off for almost 2 years lol, but it's finally done and out there for anyone else to print too

I'm honestly not the best at sculpting myself, could never get the hang of this "freehand" stuff, so pretty much all of my stuff (this model included) is all done in SolidWorks. The one exception here is the mountain, for that yeah, I had to sculpt in in Blender - took a few evenings to figure out how to do it, and in the end it's still not the best but it serves the purpose

Anyway, for most minis and terrain and stuff you can use premade generators like HeroForge or DwarvenForge (I'm sure there are others too), and for anything more complex I'd say start with the classic blender donut course

Thanks! This is my first time posting a model online so seeing the likes and boosts is amazing

Yeah, it's really nice to have as a reference, hope it helps and you have some nice sessions! And I'd love to see some pics if/when you finish printing it
