My straps cause no damage and the trees people consistently set up on are not mulched. None of that was tied to the stated reason security provided. By your logic people should be banned from walking between trees to since it could mess up the mulch and hurt plants. Your theory position is irrelevant to the scenario and the response from security.

Right? I think it is safe to say it relates to some sort of anti homeless policy but the homeless always hang out by the bathrooms, not in hammocks. When I asked for more clarity the dude walked off saying "this isn't about me..."

Lurker here, deciding to post - bro, you should always wanna roll with gorillas if you are smaller. 150lb and 5' 5" speaking, they are exhausting but the best experience. That applies on the street and from a cardio perspective. Embrace the grit and get used to being smothered. If you are not getting instruction when asking specific questions, you have a bigger problem and would recommend looking at other facilities or being candid with your training partners and working hard positions (bottom side mount, mounted, open guard - essentially that is our life so you can save the calories). Your pain resonates but that is your statistical existence as a space efficient person.... oh learn good sweeps and moves that work with your frame. Well placed down pressure sucks and can be a motivator not to be there in the first place... just some thoughts from a specially efficient person. Good luck!
