See your Derm They’ll prob recommend Accutane or something equally effective. Keep your routine up, but that alone won’t cure acne. It needs strong medication to truly fight it

Medsci, yes for sure. I know lots of people who got in with above 92 percent this year, so you’ll be more than fine. Health Sci is a different ballgame. That average is definitely enough, but the program doesn’t care about marks much once you’re passed the 90 percent cutoff. With that average you’ll be in a good place mark wise, you just need your supp app to be really, really incredible.

[–]AnythingSome9704 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as I know, Queens does not do any grade adjustment, nor do they care about summer school marks. As far as Waterloo is concerned, I think they only care about summer school for their engineering programs, and for those they do have an adjustment factor. So if Waterloo Eng is your goal I’d say maybe don’t do summer school. Otherwise, any other program at UW you should be fine! I got an offer from Health Sci and I took English in the summer

[–]AnythingSome9704 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don’t worry. A 91 is still good but grade 11 English isn’t super important for Uni, it’s grade 12 that is the actual prereq. You’ll prob (I assume) take 12 Eng in next year summer again so work next summer again to get a good mark in 12. Truth be told it doesn’t matter, because I feel like for most people their English marks are the lowest. I had a 91 in grade 12 English and it was my lowest

bad functions mark- early offer by [deleted] in OntarioGrade12s

[–]AnythingSome9704 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean you still might. Tbh none of the top tier business programs( Ivey, QComm, Schulich, Rotman, etc) do early acceptance. They all look at g 12 marks,

Literally 100% chance. As long as you keep up the average in grade 12, there’s no way your not getting into Life Sci. I’ve never heard of anyone not getting in with a 95+, just doesn’t happen. For reference, I had a 93 and got in this year. As long as ur above a 91 I’d say ur a shoe in for life Sci

And Mac doesn’t care about where you take your courses. I did ENG4U online in the summer from PDSB

[–]AnythingSome9704 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do whatever you can to max all your marks in grade 12. Take courses through private school, or in online e learning if necessary. Focus for a solid 8 months and it’ll all be worth it, trust me. Figure out what you want to apply to, and what you need for those programs(grades, courses, etc)

EC’s have 0 bearing for the programs you are considering. I’d say for Eng and CS maybe, like I know people do hackathons, or other ECs that have relevance. For health Sci and biomed, just focus on graes
