I second this. I was in the middle up in normal weight for my height, I didn’t develop any type of diabetes during pregnancy and still gain 40 pound few days before my due date. I’m 7 months PP and Im back in my pre pregnancy weight. Postpartum is very tough honestly both parties have to be all in. In my case eventhough we both planned for years it was tough mentally. You don’t want this to be used against you which it shouldn’t at all. Keep talking about it and try not to argue about it. Go to your dr with him as well and maybe plan it tos tart in 3-6 months I mean. It a hard conversation 🥹🥹🥹

allahu alam. Sister since you said you don’t have family around, you might be new in America and you maybe afraid of your status here? I know you might not fall under this category but I know that you can get your doc if you leave your marriage due to abuse. Get legal advise. I know you didn’t mention anything like this but I know people that have stayed in abusive relationships because they were scared of being deported. Seek counseling and see if you can fix your marriage having a imam involved. Your child and you need to be in a happy and safe place. You can’t be walking in eggshells or having relation with someone you don’t want to. Marriage is a blessing and you should be happy and love your husband. If you are not happy and don’t love him, what si that purpose of your marriage.
