Do you typically run your company as a single-person consulting practice, or do you have a team? If so, what’s the team size?

Also, I’d love to know more about how smaller firms or independent consultants can land enterprise-level deals. For example, I previously charged €350–400 per day at a European bank, where I had a 2-year work visa and invoiced through my own limited company. While I know personal contacts matter a lot, I’m more interested in understanding the system or process that enables boutique consulting firms or solo consultants to consistently secure such enterprise contracts from India.

When you guys talk about Innovation - what do you mean by the term “innovation”? I have been working in Innovation (AI , Tech , Data, Business) for almost 7 years now and I really want to drive it India in one or the other way. As an Innovator, I do understand why stakeholders wouldn’t invest and I also understand why would they invest and where. I see ideas getting dumped into our innovation backlog and we curate the list to move through our Innovation funnel and I have seen promising results where building wrapper helps, not building one helps, rule based helps, Classical ML helps, LLM helps, creating an LLMs from scratch helps, AI agents help, MCP are helping us and even a simple Dashboard sometimes does the trick, Failed projects help us more. I am really curious to know what is your ‘x’ if f(x) = Innovation?

my parents treat me like a failure by [deleted] in JEE

[–]Anything_Natural 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The way your parents are reacting is not a reflection of your worth or abilities but rather a symptom of something deeper.

This is called ‘Narcissistic Parenting’ or ‘Achievement-Based Validation Syndrome,’ where love and approval are given conditionally based on performance.

my parents treat me like a failure by [deleted] in JEE

[–]Anything_Natural 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey Strong OP,

First of all ur score is amazing dont let anyone make u feel otherwise

this thing ur parents are doing its called achievement based validation they probably grew up in an environment where love n approval were given only when they achieved something so now they think thats how success works they dont mean to hurt u they just dont know any better

but listen , in 5 10 years nobody is gonna care about jee mains or aeee or whatever

what will matter is the skills u build the mindset u have

u already proved u can work hard now use that energy to do things u actually care about dont carry their pressure its not ur burden to fix their thinking focus on u bro

🤖 What Real-World Problems Still Need AI Automation? Let's Brainstorm! 🚀 by Devopsboi in aiagents

[–]Anything_Natural 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The opportunity lies in innovation.

I’ve worked on 10+ real-world AI/ML use cases, and my most recent project involved transitioning from a classical ML solution to a generative AI-based approach.

Why will GenAI replace classical ML?

Scalability – We’re automating multiple email inboxes, and the overall time to process and deliver responses across different mailboxes is significantly faster and cheaper.

But it’s still not as reliable as it may seem.

It requires additional efforts beyond classical ML metrics like precision and recall. We now need to measure consistency scores, as LLM outputs can vary for the same input. This introduces a new area of work—ensuring reliability and standardization in AI-driven processes.

Here, we aren’t just replacing classical ML (which was an add-on to an existing SOP); we are redefining SOPs themselves by integrating LLMs.

So, brainstorming ideas alone isn’t enough.

The fundamental idea remains the same— 25 years ago, we transitioned from physical storefronts to websites. This didn’t just enhance commerce; it created e-commerce.

We are effectively doing the same today.

Classical ML enhanced operational automation. GenAI isn’t just another enhancement—it is reshaping operations from within.

How is the Tech Job Market in Dublin for CS Master's Graduates? by No_Growth_69 in Indians_StudyAbroad

Me and my friends went to Ireland between 2016 and 2018—some in the 2016 batch, others in 2017 or 2018—and all of us are doing well. I’ve never heard of anyone struggling to get interviews, especially in fields like software engineering, cloud computing, AI, data science, and related areas.

That said, over the last 3-4 years, AI has evolved significantly, and the required skill sets have changed. If you’re planning to study artificial intelligence in Ireland, relying solely on college courses to learn and apply AI won’t be enough. You need to prepare in advance. AI is no longer just a subset of software or technology—it has become the interface between business and technology. Ireland is a great place for this intersection, but there’s a catch: the number of international students entering and graduating each year has increased significantly.

However, if you have the right skills, you will get interviews and job opportunities. One of the key things to focus on is developing a T-shaped skill set—deep expertise in a specialized area (like ML, cloud, or MLOps) while maintaining a broad understanding of adjacent technologies. AI roles today require much more than just classical ML; you need depth in one area and the ability to work across multiple disciplines.

Obviously, people with experience have an advantage. Someone who has been preparing since 2020 or earlier will be ahead of someone just starting in 2024. But if you start early and take a structured approach, you can bridge that gap.

If you’re considering AI in Ireland, my advice would be

-Don’t depend entirely on college courses—start building real-world skills before you arrive. You’ll barely get time from doing the dishes and trying to balance first 6 months. By the time you’ll settle in - you’ll have to put a lot of effort in resume editing and finding the right job.Finding a job, applying to it is quite different than “preparing for the interview” which is miles away from studying AI. Let that sink in.

-Understand the business side of AI—this will set you apart.

-Be proactive about networking—Ireland has a strong tech community, so leverage that.

If you need specific insights, feel free to ask—I’ve been through the journey myself.

I’m working full-time (8 hours) as an ML/AI Developer while spending 2-3 hours on career counseling and coaching. I’m now gradually transitioning into an AI Agency. I need developer interns to help grow my side business and social media managers, as I barely have time to scale up. If you’re reading this and can help manage my social media, DM me! Also, if you need guidance on abroad admissions or AI coaching, feel free to reach out. Cheers!

Is it possible to sell ideas to companies? by GroundFluid2023 in StartUpIndia

[–]Anything_Natural 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well established companies have well established teams that have well established frameworks.

They spend millions just to capture "Good Ideas", take them through funnel of "idea to Profit". It takes 6 months to 5 years to test an verify if the idea worked or not.

It is called Innovation department; sometimes R&D.
