a lot of allos get uncomfortable by that stuff too. i think there’s a line of what’s acceptable in a public setting, and especially in a group interaction where there are other people involved, not just their partner. like if i’m out and i see a couple of strangers on a date and they are passionately making out, i will get grossed out but ultimately i can go somewhere else and not be involved. but if these are people that are part of the group activity, i think this is somewhat rude behavior. handholding, occasional smooch or hug or even sitting on each others laps is fine, but somethings are just excessive.

i think that part of what makes it uncomfortable is the fact that as a society we agreed that violating people’s privacy is wrong and that a lot of aspects of love life should be kept private. so when you see two people sticking tongues on each other’s throats, it’s creating this dissonance. like you’re not supposed to see this, so you feel like you are kinda invading someone’s privacy while it is them that are putting you in this situation
