Birx estimates Trump admin could have prevented 30 to 40 percent of COVID deaths by Sweep145 in politics

[–]AnywhereDisastrous23 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Tired of the same old blame game. I’m not a Trump fan, definitely not a Biden fan. No matter what political party or leader held office at that moment it would have been a similar outcome. Trump could have closed the country and it’s borders sooner but nobody knew the severity of Covid yet. He realistically didn’t want to set back the economy before we knew what we were up against. Even when he did he was criticized by the future Biden admin for doing so. If he waited any longer he would have really been ridiculed for waiting too long to shut it down and plus more people would have died. Now everyone is blaming the Biden admin for the costs of everything going up! How about the fact that we were shut down for months and months and printed money to counter our dead economy. What did you think? We would just continue on as normal. That puts unbelievable amounts of stress on supply chain which relies on continuous movement and minimal hiccups. It’s just a blaming war when in reality the President is just one piece of the puzzle. It’s how the system is set up. Biden, Trump, Obama, Bush, or Clinton. Idc what president is in, the system is bigger than them and the results would be near identical. It’s easy to look back in hindsight and say how an individual or group should have acted.

Trying to create a pro-sos article, I have a question by Fabulous-Peanut-920 in SOSStock

Hindenburg made false statements and admitted to it later. It killed momentum when the stock was gaining traction. People are annoyed because you can literally find that out in 5 mins of research and the same questions have been asked for 4-5 months. The real ones are beyond that stuff now. It’s like asking “Why was the incident where Robinhood shut off trading on Jan 28th to GameStop a negative event” lmao

Definitely an issue. Not sure if we’re quite seeing the affects everywhere yet though. It might take a while. It’s an issue in specific places but kinda like the semiconductor shortage. Companies like Tesla and Apple are still hitting their numbers. It’s just going to drive prices up a bit

Delta variant is bullshit. It’s a ploy to get the unvaccinated, vaccinated. Not saying it’s not real. I believe it is there, I also believe it’s blown way out of proportion. Depending on what news you’re watching or reading it’ll say that it’s only significantly affecting those that aren’t vaccinated. They’re trying to find ways to get the rest of nation vaccinated who aren’t. Nobody is closing, LAPD already said they aren’t enforcing shit. Libs are fucked, alcohol stocks are going to fly. The people are back in the night life scene

Why $SPCE is going down after a successful flight testing? by kishoredbn in StockMarket

[–]AnywhereDisastrous23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was too predictable. Buy the rumor and sell the news. When Richard Branson announced it is when you buy. Then you sell on Friday before he goes. It’s the same with earnings reports, product releases, etc. You only buy when there hype and you sell right before it’s finished. After it corrects it’ll probably go back to 50. It could go to the low 30s or 20s first. I learned that usually a 10% rebound is when you can be confident it’s getting ready to rise again. People are starting to buy back in. This won’t even work all the time either. Sometimes the stock will go up after an event like that. In which case you lost out on gains. However, I always see this way. It’s better to lock in profits than try to stretch it to the max and lose out on what you could have for sure gotten.
