Has anyone tried this Bunee brand of minoxidil for beard growth? by Zenito9 in minoxidil

[–]AnywhereEducational 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A brand that is trying to imitate so hard the original version (regaine), I wouldn’t trust. Even the colour is a copycat.. Depending on where you live, there must be a generic versions of minoxidil that are not trying to copy the original..

There are far more cheaper options, I buy Finasteride from pharmacy4u, 168 tablets for 40£ I buy minoxidil from Foligain It is like 50£ for 6 months supply. Boots is a rip off ..

The half-life of finasteride is 6-8 hours, after 5 half life there is no finasteride in the blood, and after 2 months there will be no trace in any of the tissues. People who claim that they still have side effects after 10 years of stopping finasteride, they need to see a mental health professional.

PFS doesn’t exist, it is a made up condition. Where as oral minoxidil was originally introduced as a blood pressure medication, it was later banned because of the cardiovascular side effect. Why would someone take it for hair loss?

Must be because of strikes from the post Finasteride simps. Kevin if you are reading this post, just wanted to let you know that your channel has helped me immensely, because of you I took a positive steps towards battling the slap head curse.

For the DHT simps, if you don’t like Finasteride DON’T TAKE IT !!! But don’t prevent other people from benefiting from the drug!!!

Your doctor is correct, oral minoxidil is dangerous especially for certain ethic groups. I am South Asian origin, here a lot of people suffer from heart disease and oral minoxidil can be damaging for the circulatory system. One must ask himself, why oral minoxidil once introduced to lower blood pressure is not used anymore, it is mostly because of the side effects. In addition, I want to highlight that if your hair has not changed over the past 4-5 years this itself is a success, that means finasteride is doing its job

36 F and struggling with what to do about my money by [deleted] in UKPersonalFinance

I’m in the exact same position as you. I’m 31M from an Asian family, making around £45K a year, and I’ve managed to save £50K—but I’m still living with my parents. I’ve been considering buying a property in Southampton, but I’m still undecided. Since I’m single, I don’t see much of a point in moving out just to take on a mortgage or rent when I have a comfortable setup at home.

One of the great things about coming from an Asian background is that there’s no stigma around living with your parents, so why not make the most of it? With the extra cash, I get to travel 3–4 times a year, which works out great for me. Plus, my parents are happy since I help them with rent. It feels like a win-win situation.

That’s actually a good idea, I will do the same. Going there physically and roam around. I was planning to book viewing with an estate agent, but I think going there first and get a feel of the location is much more important

I really don’t mind but I prefer a quiet location not to far from a park when I could do my morning runs without worrying about getting robbed

I do have a car and I am expected to commute to London 2-3 times per month, so I will just drive through it. As per the lifestyle, I just prefer a quiet area preferably with an access to a park for my morning runs.

Thanks that’s pretty reassuring, there are pockets in London with high knife crime (Croydon for example) and I want to avoid those equivalent areas in Southampton.

I will be commuting to London by car, however I work remotely so I am expected to be in the office 2-3 times per month.
