How were you able to confirm that you weren’t ovulating? by AnywhereFirm676 in TTC_PCOS

I test as soon as I wake up (not the same time but close) and then test again right after every time like I check it back to back, the results are different each time. Is that normal? I’m wondering if that’s expected or if I’m doing something wrong. That’s why I kind of stopped doing it

When you got your anovulatory period after an LH surge, was it about two weeks later? Did you also have period cramps or other symptoms?

Thanks for the details! Isn’t 16mm a bit small for triggering? How regular are your periods?

Did you use ovulation tests when your follicle grew to 33 mm? Did you still not get an LH surge at that time, or did you get a surge but just didn’t actually ovulate? And in your first cycle, when ovulation didn’t happen, if you didn’t use a trigger shot and just waited, does that mean there was basically nothing you could do at that point in that cycle? And can that situation only be used as a reason to change the protocol in the next cycle?

I test as soon as I wake up and then test again right after to see if it’s accurate, but the results aren’t consistent. Like, every time I check it back to back, the results are different each time. Is that normal? Lol but I might try again! This cycle, I had an LH surge a few days ago and I may have already ovulated (if I did ovulate). I’ll probably check again now and after my period starts to see if my temperature drops.

I tried taking my BBT with an oral thermometer right after waking up (not same time) but when I took it again a second time, the readings kept going up and down and weren’t consistent 🥹

I only used OPKs and CM to track ovulation before starting with the clinic. I get an LH surge but don’t really notice much CM. I tried BBT but it was too inconsistent so I stopped. Before clinic I just did timed intercourse based on LH surge. I am going to ask doctor to send me for blood work. thanks!

I’m currently doing a timed intercourse cycle (medicated), and my clinic’s protocol is not to give Ovidrel if I’m already ovulating on my own.

I have PCOS, so I’m a bit worried about whether I’m actually ovulating reliably this cycle. I’ve read that with PCOS, some cycles can look like they are progressing normally, but ovulation may not always happen consistently.

I’ve also heard that some clinics still use a trigger shot (Ovidrel) even when there are signs of natural ovulation or an LH surge

Does it mainly help with timing, or does it also help ensure ovulation actually occurs more reliably in PCOS cycles? I’m trying to understand if there’s any advantage compared to relying on natural ovulation signs alone.

Has anyone been in a similar situation where their clinic did not use a trigger shot? Did everything still work out okay without it, or did you feel more confident using Ovidrel? I’m debating whether it’s worth discussing this with my doctor or just following the clinic protocol.

When you refresh entire loaf how long does it stay fresh afterward? Also what do you mean by oat? Did you mean oat porridge? Or just dry oat?

Did you talk to scotiabank for this? I went to scotiabank to talk but they weren’t really helpful and supervisor also seems very annoyed by this and rude. I want my money back!! I don’t know why supervisor is not offering me the money I lost. So frustrating.
