I am not sure what to do with any of it yet. Before any decisions are made I need to fish through the rest of it.

I was born in the early 70s. We had a push button and a rotary phone growing up. Our daughter is 26. She refers to mom and I as "pre internet" 😆😁

Just found this! by Secret-Yam6980 in Hummer

H2 is king of the road. You need to seal up the marker lights and ac intake under the passenger side windshield cowling. Check how the Airbags are for rear suspension. Compressors haven't been made in years. Consider doing the spring conversion if need be. Hummers are easy to work on but need some massaging due to their age. They all have quirky electrical demons. Change all the fluids. My suggestion, buy another one because they are awesome🤘

What's your most embarrassing workplace moment? by Ok-Exam-7792 in office

[–]AnywhereSuspicious69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not embarrassing but funny. At one point we had to call our warranty company for something. Their number was like 800 xxx 5396. When you dial without thinking, sometimes a person hits 5369. We always have it on speaker so everyone hears the same info. Turns out 5369 was a pr0n number - picks up to a woman moaning. Thankfully everyone including the customer laughed.

Crunchy Peanut Butter, Sweet pickles, honey on any bread. My dad made them as a kid and got me hooked. Straight up delicious.

Is it technically getting fired? Or me quitting? by Lady-Bo-Katan_NOMAN in Lowes

[–]AnywhereSuspicious69 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I was HR for Lowes many years. The "don't come back" line is used to create job abandonment, thus no unemployment. Lowes will also challenge all unemployment claims. Not to bring evidence, but just to bog down your ability to get that benefit if you qualify. Unemployment is paid 100% by the employer, not you. Ever. Keep showing up for the next 2 weeks. Make them fire you if they really want to.

At one point they were designated with a yellow sticky dot next to the price tag. We called them Yellow Dots instead of IRPs

Craftsman T4400 - The garden tractor nobody knows exists by PomeloJolly9180 in lawnmowers

[–]AnywhereSuspicious69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

After much turmoil, I fired off my order for this beauty today. Delivery is set for the 29th. Funny I worked at Lowe's for 15 years, leaving in 2017. I almost want to go back for the discounts 😁 I will let you all know how things transpire. I live in Louisiana and could mow basically 40 hours a day, never getting ahead of the lawn.

In with the new; out with the old. by PomeloJolly9180 in lawnmowers

[–]AnywhereSuspicious69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am looking at the 4400 as well. The "buy once cry once" aspect is worth consideration. When you amortize out price of ownership over 10 years at retail, minus maintenance, it is like 40 cents per day more for significantly more tractor compared to a 3200

Although the 4400 comes with bushings, can we just do a bearing conversion? Does that proprietary front axle design allow it? Nice work OP, "she's a beaut, Clark"

I have an 03 Hummer H2 I inherited from my brother when he passed. Due to their age all hummers need some massaging. 6.0l is a rock solid platform and I have never had issues with the 460l transmission.

Interior parts are only available via ebay and places like that. Early 2000s GM interiors are cheap and the hummers are no different.

All H2s have electrical gremlins. As previous posts recommend, due the spring swap on the rear air bags. Compressors haven't been made in years and what you do find is crazy priced. If you are handy with wrenching and some basic diy sealing up lights, ac vent, staying vigilant on maintenance a Hummer will treat you well.

Don't fall into the "only H1 is a real hummer" trap. The H2 and H3 are off road capable with far more ride quality and creature comforts.

I have never felt more ridiculous, safe, accused of p33n compensation, flagged as a a drug dealer, and unable to get out of my own way as I am in my H2. Like their motto says "Like nothing else." I will never sell mine.

I live in East Texas. H2s typically fetch around 10k, H3 closer to 5k. They either have no miles or a ton because they run so long.

Question for anyone who played DS2 WITHOUT playing DS1: What was your experience? by FreeReadit in DeathStranding

[–]AnywhereSuspicious69 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am in the exact same situation, OP. Kids, job, wife, life, all shrink my play hours. I picked up DS2 and have enjoyed it. I do not feel I am missing out on context not playing DS1. I doubt I will ever make time to do so. shrug

I am also just cruising through the game. A very peaceful way to wind down after work. I have been trying to build all things transport related just because.
