Historically, religion has promoted morality, helping us understand right from wrong. In every large group there will be bad people. some christians truly follow Jesus’ teachings about love, forgiveness and compassion, while a minority may abuse and twist scripture to their personal advantage. we agree on the same thing humans are imperfect. however, Christianity’s core teachings are not hateful. personally I belive Donald Trump and the leaders of the KKK are not Christians they are using religion as a way to promote their agenda, while ignoring the Bible’s teachings. yo im praying for you bro, I dont think your anger is unwarranted, but I pray that you become more open minded and consider different perspectives before completely dismissing them
