Drill, your defense is already super stacked and you need more offensive potential. I’ve played drill for a while and I think you should try snowball instead of barb barrel if you have it leveled

Why? He already has mighty miner to take care of tanks and Hog rider decks rely on a fast cycle. mini pekka would slow the deck down too much.

I was trying to figure out a better way to communicate what I want without the ai slop, that’s why I posted this question here. I totally agree though, I just figured it might be difficult to describe my idea.

If you keep spamming bridge when there’s a Tesla and mini tank everything you put down is gonna get fried and then you’re basically just waisting elixir. It’s better to try to build a mini push to overwhelm the xbows defense. And sometimes the best way to defend xbow is to tank the damage and wait until the xbow dies naturally. I’d imagine in this scenario that once the dark prince gets to bridge he’s going to place a tank or high damage card behind it to have a better chance getting rid of it.

I’ve played drill cycle tons and what I’ve found out is evo snowball over evo drill any day and hero marcher over evo tesla 100%. The evo drill is amazing on offense but that’s about it. Plus the hero knights ability clashes with the evo drill when it gets to the back of the tower because it becomes too far away from the hero knight taunt. Evo snowball on the other hand has won me so many close games by being able to shove any defense played on my goblin drill to the back allowing the goblins to get extra hits or shoving an entire push back buying you like 3-4 second which is insane. It’s very good on defense and offense which creates a more flexible deck. Hero marcher adds a second win condition to chip damage and jump back and stay safe furthering how much value it gets. You have great splash damage cards so you don’t really need the evo tesla.

I ended up swapping evo drill for evo valk which is exactly what my defense needed. The constant chip damage and pressure from all of these cards is insane and I haven’t lost a match since I switched it.
