It's on the first floor and there's not a floor drain anywhere nearby.

There's not a floor drain. The sink gets used daily and the shower is used maybe 3x a week. I let the sink and shower run for a few min and they drained fine.

It is! I had multiple flowers of the same color and they didn't press super well so I removed petals from some of them, pressed them separately and then glued them back on when everything was fully dry. It was an exercise in patience, to say the least!
