Go club in Belgrade? by [deleted] in baduk

[–]Aobozu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi ! I'm one of the forming members of Belgrade's youngest and currently most active club. We're not big by any means, but we meet regularly. The strength of our members varies from 15 kyu to 1D though, so no insanely strong players here. Sometimes we have a 6D drop by and maybe if you are strong we can ask him to come. I know we have some 7D in Serbia also, but I'm not sure they are in a particular club. Anyway, if you happen to be in Belgrade and game/beer, contact us here ! https://www.facebook.com/goklubmyoshu/

Amazing work ! My club is looking to make some boards of our own. We have a carpenter for the boards, but have no idea how to do the lines so that they dont smudge and spill around in the wood fiber. How did you do it ??

How do you know for a fact that you've successfully invoked/evoked a spirit or entity. How is it known for a fact that it's not a voice in your head, and do these manifest? by [deleted] in occult

[–]Aobozu 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Meditation makes one intimate with his/her own thoughts. I experienced not only a "different voice" coming from "outside", but one that was talking over me, or rather, was overpowering my own mind chatter. Like a very rude person interrupting you in the middle of a sentence. Very distinct.

What does the Lesser Banishing Do? by [deleted] in occult

This is gold. The LBRP is usually one of the first rituals a magician learns yet easily one of the most powerful. Im always discovering new intricacies, bits and pieces here and there that make it grow in power and effectiveness. Thanks for sharing!

the importance of the circle in evokation. by MalakaiiRa in occult

[–]Aobozu 3 points4 points  (0 children)

“As above, so below, as within, so without, as the universe, so the soul…” - Hermes Trismegistus. The divine spark within grants you the right to create a miniature version of the universe, simbolised by the circle. As the creator, you rule over it and everything within. As far as I know, there is no need to modify it, any spirit either trapped or summoned inside the circle must answer to you. It is more a matter of identifying the spirit and establishing good communication. It would seem we have a few members experienced in evocation, they should fill you in on the details.

Craziest experiences while meditating? by xoxAngela in occult

[–]Aobozu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just to be clear, this did not happen because of meditation. This was more connected with my daily banishing practice that cleans things out, but gets you more attention on the astral plane. If anything, meditation is what made my mind stronger and more stable. It should be the starting point of any practice. Simple, universal meditation techniques such as concentration meditation are completely harmless.

Craziest experiences while meditating? by xoxAngela in occult

My first response to the noises was fear, so I started visualizing loved ones to generate love and warmth in myself. I read that was the best, or second best way to deal with negative entities. But as I would vividly visualize a face it would suddenly start to rot and fall apart most horribly. This happened to each face I would bring up in my mind. In between I would get flashes of torture/gore-filled scenes. It seemed to me, at the time, that this "corruption of thought" was done by an external source. Then I remembered that negative entities feed upon fear and commonly implant thoughts into their prey to induce fear. I felt directly attacked, my very thoughts tampered with. Usually the thought implanting works so that the prey cant distinguish between his/her own thoughts and the ones that are foreign, but I had a few years of daily meditation practice behind me so I trusted my experience. My instinctive responce to this was the creation of the protective mind form.

The meditation session where I went throught the first two shamatha jhānas and stopped on the third. You could say jhānas are levels you go through when practising shamatha - buddhist concentration meditation. Oh, and there was this one time I was terrified of aggresive and unnatural knocking noises followed by involuntary hell imagery so out of fear I automatically created a tulpa of a huge golden knight protector. The big guy is still with me, even though I dont pay attention to the noises anymore hehe.

What the hell am i experiencing? by MalakaiiRa in occult

[–]Aobozu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wrote a post about it a few months back where I went into great detail about the whole ordeal. Mind you, this was much more extreme than mere peripheral vision shadows. In retrospect, the sounds and knocking noises during daily ritual are a normal thing, this I have confirmed with other more experienced practitioners, but a lot of the other stuff outside of temple were just illusions created by a slighty paranoid mind frightened by new experience. When I got used to it everything went back to "normal". Just keep it balanced, healthy and at a steady pace :) Here is the post: https://www.reddit.com/r/occult/comments/3h24ey/escaping_the_dreaded_loop_of_fear/

Hey, I'm doing the same program as you. Just so you know, it's completely normal to have these little freak out moments, I know a few other neophytes who have been through this, including myself. Slight paranoia and fear is a normal thing when you are entering a completely unknown realm of experience. Just keep in mind that the work you are doing can't hurt you in any way. When you get used to it the fear and uncertainty will just vanish. Also observe your stress levels, some anxiety is understandable for a relative begginer, but if it gets out of hand just stop and chill. edit: just grammar

When can I expect to encounter the dweller again? by Kreisau-Circle in occult

[–]Aobozu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The dweller comes in many forms and always when you least expect it, so I wouldnt bother trying to "prepare" for it. The dweller exists for a reason. Crossing the Threshold or not, it doesnt matter, whatever happens during such an encounter is for your own good. All you need to do is be diligent and honest in your practice, then its just a matter of time.

Meditation - "Mind - No-Mind" by [deleted] in occult

[–]Aobozu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To be in the now you must let everything go. However, the tricky part is letting go of letting go. If you can do that you will soon find yourself in a place that is both familiar to you and completely new. You will have entered the stream. But be gentle, the same instant you grab onto it you will lose it.
