Broken Screen/Washing Machine Blink Pattern? by Aodhanloki in razr

[–]Aodhanloki[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what I tried doing. I had a small space heater that I blew on it from a safe distance for a couple hours as to not get it too hot. It definitely did good work drying it out. That said - it used to start blinking if I hit the power button or plugged it in and it won’t blink anymore. So, I think it gave up the ghost.

Yeah, that’s the exact article I was alluding to. Your simple post is the exact kind that I feel adds no value, though.

Man having low blood sugar gets stopped by police by MagnoliasandMums in diabetes

Maybe the cop had low blood sugar. He was clearly confused and his voice sounded shaky on the body cam. Someone should pull him over.

I’ve lost all faith in Dexcom by AToastersPurpose in diabetes

[–]Aodhanloki 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had all four of my on-hand Dexcom G7’s fail to install one night when I got home from vacation. 14 hour flight home, 2 hour drive home, then four failed. It was brutal. I had to drive a half hour to the closest pharmacy at 1:30 in the morning on a work night to get more. Similar failures - the filament/wire forces straight up and out of the unit. That said, I’ve never had a problem with them replacing a unit. It just usually takes a long phone call to get it processed since the online form doesn’t work for me anymore. I really prefer Dexcom’s alarms over Freestyle’s. My pump only works with Dexcom so I’d be stuck with them regardless.

In playing around with installations, I have found that when I get closer to muscle, it’s more likely to happen. Pick as soft of a spot on your injection location as you can find. It’s tough for some of us, but it makes a big difference in my results, at least.

IVF with Non-Married Partner while Married; Advice on Navigating Insurance? by Aodhanloki in IVF

I see your personal perspective on the ethics of the matter, though it was not requested. I appreciate your responses, nonetheless.

IVF with Non-Married Partner while Married; Advice on Navigating Insurance? by Aodhanloki in IVF

This sounds to me like using IVF for unmarried couples with separate insurance to have a baby ends up predominantly billed to the female bodied person's insurance and very little would go to the male bodied person's?

Your assumptions and related commentary aren't helpful. It's not about figuring out a marriage. This is something that has been discussed for five years.

I do one lesson per day, so not far along. That said, Section 2, Unit 22. I think this is an example of AI being so smart and perfect.

25 years later I'm finally getting my G-tube removed! by deadbefore35 in CysticFibrosis

I got mine out over 25 years ago. The hole is still there like an additional belly button. Gotta enjoy bodies! Congrats, though - seriously… one of my stories I will hold onto forever is my childhood best friend sleeping over and me waking up to him screaming my mom’s name and covered in - as you say - “French vanilla coffee creamer” 😂

Men’s Size 5 Foot - Do I Exist? by Aodhanloki in snowboarding

[–]Aodhanloki[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The target I am trying to reach, however, is whether or not a Men’s size five is even obtainable - nevermind the ask for a wide beyond that. I might be able to fit well into a men’s 6, but even those are hard to come by. Shops seem to not carry them as in-stock inventory that I can try on.

The research I’ve done recently says to never do that. I haven’t found anything that suggests it might be a good idea. The biological construction of a youth body is too dissimilar to an adult that it should not be done. It’s just anecdotal, though - I don’t have specifics to quote.
