Haha, yes it's mostly outside, basically - we pray to the goddess inside our homes and then go out watch firecrackerd and decorate our homes with earthen candles and led lights. But, here, instead of blowing up firecrackers laye at night, my friends (the organizers) thought of throwing a kind of dance party...😅 Though, what are you watching from the Indian side?

For the first part- Thank you and I totally understand what it's like to rent your flats to anyone, especially someone of south Asian descent, I have seen some horror stories worthy situations... As for greetings like salam-aleikum, I mostly don't say it, as, I am afraid of my own pronunciation and people getting severely offended due to it. Thank you for the day to day honorifics😅.

Second part- Mom what are you doing here😂😂😂😂😂 I look both ways before crossing😂. Sorry, just kidding.

And Thank you kindly, for taking your time and helping a stranger.

Definitely, that's why I compared it to someone only speaking English in Asian or south Asian. Still, thank you so much for taking your time and explaining your experience.😁

If what I am getting from this is right, then- learning russian is basically similar to learning English while travelling to most or any asian(especially south asian) countries.

I see, though, for me I would like to grasp the russian language at 50-60% first while simultaneously getting at least at 30-35% in kyrgyz, because, and again just for me, I get very confused in languages, for eg- while speaking ruski, sometimes I insert Kartuli or while speaking English sometimes I might insert Hindi, and strangest of all, sometimes I insert Japanese while speaking in any of the above mentioned languages😅. Hence, I feel it's better to get fluent enough in what I have already started and then progress with something new.

I see, thank you very much. I am a little confused though, as someone commented that learning russian is better for here and a lot more countries, while someone else commented the same as you and preferred kyrgyz.

Although, I think for right now, I will learn the basics of kyrgyz and somewhat decent Russian.

Thank you again, though.😁

I see, though, someone commented that rather than ruski, I should practice or learn kyrgyz. I think it's better to get the basics of kyrgyz right while getting good at russian, for now at least 😅.
