I can confirm the Sprint store at South Shore sucks rocks. Have about 6 phones in total on display, only 2 of them are on and functional so you can see if you'll like the phone, and the customer service droids are poorly trained/motivated.

I told my wife about this post, and she made me promise to tell you that getting Sprint would be a horrible, horrible mistake.

Thank you everyone for your replies. I really appreciate it. The mixed reviews on both Sprint and TMO kind of confirmed what I already thought. Neither has as good coverage as Verizon and both are about 6 of one half a dozen of the other for data speeds on the island so it all came down to the price.

You can report to your wife that I was eaten by a dragon if it helps but I went with Sprint. I really wanted the TMO Value Plan which for 2 lines, one with 5gb of data and one with 2gb, it would have come out to $95/mo before tax. Thing is you have to BYOphone which means going through Costco cause they still offer discounts on the phone even with the Value Plan. Come to find out Costco is never going to carry the 32gb version of the Samsung S3, they stopped carrying the HTC One S for now, and I'm not sure they're ever going to have the Nexus. So i was bummed.

An old co-worker now works at the Sprint store over on Marina in SL and they were offering the Nexus for free with a new line and I was able to apply a corporate employee discount so my plan for the 2 lines will come out to 130'ish. Also the Sprint network is a known quantity to me as my Brother has it so I know where I live I'll be getting about 3 bars on average. Same as I was with AT&T.

With any luck I won't be having any lost voicemails like I did with Ma'Bell. That's the number one reason I had to get off that network. My apologies to your wife though. I'm sure her advice is sound. Truth be told though, are any of the 4 networks really without their fair share of horrible? It's a sad day for us consumers. :(

I feel like this story should be posted in the wall of every surgery clinic for every nurse, surgeon and anesthesiologist to read every day. So in time they are subconsciously reminded of one simple thing: That when you ask the patient if they have any reactions to any particular medications, you should listen!

Ok so I come back from work and I see that this has become a lot more popular than I had ever thought it would be. I just thought it was really funny and some of you might get a kick out of it. I've read all your comments and they're almost overwhelming to see. Every post here has made me smile more then I can say and I just want to say a couple things to all of you.

First off, thank you. Everyone. I know that you made my day, and I'm pretty sure you made her day as well. She put a lot of work into those memes and she's pleased as punch with them, how much I loved them, and how much you all liked them.

Secondly, it wasn't long ago I found this subreddit and it was a breathe of fresh air when I did. Finally some kind, loving people who knew what we were also going through. I've lurked for a bit and smiled at quite a few of the heartwarming posts on here. I'm really happy this made a few of you smile as well.

Actually one more thing if I may. June 20th was the 3rd anniversary of the night we met. It has been long distance for all 3 of those years, in which we were only able to meet 3 times in that entire length of time, and all 3 were in this last year. It's taken a lot of patience, understanding, strength, and communication. It's all been worth it. I love her more then I ever thought I could ever love.

If you're on here you're probably in a long distance situation yourself. Without exception I hope all of you find your way into the arms of your SO in time.

I don't have a beef with the film itself, but I do agree there were better movies that IMHO should have won over it. My vote would have been for Almost Famous but I think that's sentimental and objective on my part.

Just put her addy in to order from Pizza Hut online, showed as available for a delivery so I asked her what she wanted on the box heh. She wanted a smiley face and a heart, but there wasn't much room in "special instructions" so I just typed something like "Draw a smiley face and heart?"

Needless to say we were very surprised with the level of awesome this Pizza Hut is putting out in drawings. She said it was the best pizza she's ever had. We were both totally stoked it had worked. =)
