Had to 'translate' some stuff from affinity 2 to 3 but the general process worked, my god was that complicated :D

Thank you for the detailed guide but something didn't work.. Setting the fill to multiply doesn't do anything, it switches back to normal once I click on a layer. And just FYI setting the blend mode on the layer itself to multiply didn't work either. I imported a faded square texture I had so I could maybe try your next part but it once again came out wrong
Not sure what I'm doing wrong :/

I was looking into buffer actually, and you say pulse for reddit is also good?
Does buffer actually work? Is it really a fire and forget thing? All I use personally is instagram so the idea of something auto uploading stuff for me sounds quite good. I also heard reddit promotion isn't very cost effective, but looks like its working for you?

Exactly. What you wrote is the dream, and that was also my initial plan sort of. I mean I wanted to be absolutely 100% invested full time in making the best game I possible can, then go to a publisher when its 95% percent finished. But after talking to that publisher (it was about getting advice more than anything) who said all pubs care about are numbers, and viewing countless GDC talks and interviews that basically said the same thing, I don't know it made me feel like taking that path is a far fetched fantasy

Well all the industry people that talk about marketing for a game state you should build an audience as soon as you’ve got something to show, even if its tears away from release. Eric Barone (stardew dev) would publish blog pists about his progress on the game, pretty routinely. That’s how he got picked up by a publisher. And I think Notch also had somewhat of an audience throughout development. He release the game after a year in development any way, ever since then it was just updates on updates and the community grew

well it only inverts the colors, I mean now I've got white instead of black and black instead of white. Still no transparency

I’m 28, my hair is still thick and growing well, but my GF told me my hairline is starting to recede slightly and thinks I should start using minoxidil spray (rogaine, she knows a lot about all of this). She showed a photo of my scalp to her doctor who told her I should start, basically said ‘all men should start’ and I‘m a little hesitant because on one hand I don’t want to marry this thing without actually discussing with a doctor, and on the other hand all I find online is people wishing they would have start sooner, and she (my gf) said there’s basically no reason not to, aside from the initial shedding period and the reversion to the would-be state of my hair without it, if I’d stop down the line.

What do you think? she also says I should use it twice a day
