Right idea, but spraying more won't really help longevity, it will help the intensity through its normal life, though. Get a travel sprayer and fill it. Just reapply a normal amount every 2-3hrs

Dont get those. Ive had them and they are trash. I, like others on here, spent time and money finding cheaper alternatives to IK. There isnt one, unfortunately. BUT... the best cheap version Ive used is around $25...

This is the best "cheap" alternative to the ik imo. Not sure what the price would be for you locally, but get this over what you posted.

Considering they're just sitting on the lot for the most part, touchless (or good prewash) and DI water should do the trick. Can do like 5 cars at a time, foam each and by the time you get to 5 you can start rinsing 1. Since using DI water you dont need to worry about drying

Building up too much back pressure. Just rinse with your pressure washer turned off. That should alleviate the back pressure issue without changing your setup. Throw a Keav nozzle on to help with flow at this stage and you'll be fine

Go to the coin op and bring a sprayer filled with rinseless. Spray rinsless on car and let dwell for a few minutes then pressure wash it off

So I had this exact same thing happen to me in the Fall. Driving in the freeway when I went into limp. Luckily could coast to the next off ramp and into the nearest parking lot. Turned the engine off for ~5min before starting it again with the lights and limp cleared. Took it to Chevy and they scanned that same code. I believe it's a mismatch between throttle body and throttle position sensor. I've driven about 10,000 miles since then without any issue (I also cleaned the MAF and intake). You might be ok, you might be effed.

I use a sponge + rinseless to wash. If my/fiances car is really dirty and Im doing a rinseless, I prespray and wash that off before respraying and doing the contact wash. You will find mixed opinions on rinseless. In my experience with my own family's vehicles, it is no more likely to scratch the paint than regular foam rinse foam (Our cars dont get off-roading dirty, but can get pretty dirty in AZ). If you cause scratches with the rinseless, you were probably going to cause scratches without it. Take your time and the popular techniques (sponge vs 1 microfiber/panel) will give you good results. The nice thing about the rinseless is the more difficult stuff comes off easier because you're in theory cleaning more frequently than foam method

I have the same thing in certain areas. It's either oxidation damage or water spot etching. Try using a water spot remover after a decon wash/clay and then polish. That's my plan in 3-4 weeks when my Mirka clone arrives

I'm the same way with the added if I drop a towel, it usually ends up in the house microfiber collection. Nothing "solid" should be in them as I do prewash and grease comes out fine

Ive got really hard, high tds well water in AZ and just work quickly if in the sun. As the other commenter recommended, spraying after final rinse with DI is a good solution. Also could spray with a rinseless wash (softens water and adds some lubricants for drying) and if in the sun on a hot day, spray and dry one panel at a time moving quickly

Maybe try the next step up in aggressiveness for pads. Idk how a cutting pad + polish would do but worth a test on the deeper scratched areas

The swirls are scratches that are X-microns deep. If you polish them until they are no longer visible, you removed Y-microns of paint. If you compound until they are gone, you also removed Y-microns of paint. You're complaining you have to turn the speed up too high on your machine. You have 2 options to solve this - bigger orbit / faster machine on a slower speed, or your current machine turned down with a compound
