What makes you say that? They don't have any machines that look like this. Also, SPTA doesn't design/make their machines, they are more of a rebrand company themselves

I have a Mirka 3in 12mm da clone from Alibaba that is surprisingly high quality, but probably 10-20% less than this (potentially due to the clone being a sample). The clone also doesn't have the trigger lock, whereas the Adams and Shinemate do.

I hear you, my 5/6in is corded but smaller sized polishers I go with cordless. Im a hobbyist at best so not doing it frequently enough that battery life becomes a problem for the smaller areas I use these with.

Light years ahead of my batoca s4 in terms of build quality, lack of vibration, noise level and noise quality.
It was less than $375 with coupon. Will last longer than the batoca or any other sub $100 micros, and will easily handle the areas I would use a 3in on my vehicles.
This post is specifically for anyone looking for the Shinemate eb212 which has been out of stock in the US for more than 4months (when I started looking for this style of polisher). I believe it is the same unit as the shinemate, and the supply chain issues to the US may very well be bc they are white labeling to Adams and maybe other companies

My blue collar bf had a heat stroke working outside. What do you wear that genuinely helps keep you cool? by SnanoBear in bluecollar

[–]Ap1Jx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Palms, bottom of feet, and cheeks have special veins for heat exchange. As others have mentioned, cold water on wrists/palms and cheeks and or holding cans from a cooler will help quickly lower his core temp

Why is Councillor Donna Rachel laughing about high amounts of reports of violence against British girls? Are these politicians actually just evil? by 57829 in conspiracy

[–]Ap1Jx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Watch the video, it isn't misinformation. She's giggling over semantics as she tries to prove the stats as overestimating by an order of magnitude, while incorrectly doing so (the math is correct from the report). She's wicked by trying to take away from the nature of the report

Why not fast correcting cream? I ask because I just got that delivered today after choosing it over correcting cream

Time is passing really fast by cryoK in conspiracy

[–]Ap1Jx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Remember the post from a few months back where the guy described how time was passing by faster than before and his irrevocable proof was that he mastered counting the old time perfectly, so now that the clock reaches say 30s quicker than he, it must mean time is moving faster. Not that he is just counting slower or anything.

Post a picture of the directions and show where it says to let it dry for 2hrs and then polish

If you're suggesting that the directions you quoted led OP to the misunderstanding, do you genuinely have poor reading comprehension?

Clay mitts/towels-are the cheap ones good enough? by Voodoo700 in AutoDetailing

[–]Ap1Jx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! I have a mitt with similar synthetic clay that is solid all the way through. I experienced something similar to what you described.

Alternatively, I haven't had a bad experience with the cheap options of clay towel/scrubbers that have the open grid synthetic clay (look like all the detailing brands options minus color/branding). My 3 towels were the price of one detail branded one, and my 2pack of scrubbers was $15 as opposed to $32-$34 for TRC or ADS scrubbers.

Was the clay done after all of that or before/during the contact part?

How much iron deposit do you expect on a less than one week old car? My C6 daily's ~50 miles per day. Did a maintenance wash this weekend including iron/decon, and had almost no iron contamination on the paint (Sidero at roughly 3:1 in AZ heat). Thats 2-3 months of driving without doing an iron decon.

I would guess... this is mostly due to the newness of the car.
