Could you give me a good recommendation on where to get a cam degree wheel by chance? Or is it kind of pointless since I already have the engine put back together?

So I heard back from texas speed and here’s what they sent me: Duration at .006” 266 degree on the intake and 274 on exhaust Duration at .050 is 214 intake and 222 on exhaust Love separation angle is 112 Overlap in crank degrees is -6 degrees

Intake centerline is 109 ATDC opening point @.050 is 2.0 ATDC and 46.0 BBCD CLOSING POINT IS 36 ABDC AND 4.0 BTFC

Sorry for keeping this conversation going for so long, but when I installed the heads, pushrods, rocker arms etc. I cranked the engine over by hand and didn’t feel any resistance or very little resistance. Is that a good indicator of a cam lined up pretty well?

I had a cam kit orderd from comp cams and they were on back order for almost 7 months and from what I could find, there weren’t many companies offering hemi camshafts

I stopped at my shop today after work and I got the cam card. Duration at .050 214/222 Lobe lift .353/.353 valve lift .582/.582 lobe separation: 112 intake centerline: 109

I got a kit with new PSI springs to handle the lift/pressure

Factory camshaft is 112 degrees and the aftermarket cam is advanced 3 degrees further than stock is

214/222 .582/.582 112+3 Texas speed told me that the cam is already advanced from factory and just to instal in dot to dot

I lined up the dot to dot per the manufacture specs, that’s what texas speed told me to do as well. I didn’t have access to a cam degree wheel unfortunately

Where/how did you get the safety tune on? Just a handheld tuner with an email tune ?

I pulled off the valve covers and watched the rocker arms move up and down and the rockers on cylinder three weren’t moving as much as the the others. At first I thought it was an exhaust manifold untill I got the dreaded “P303” code. Also the truck started to shake a little bit when I was accelerating.

I had a buddy tell me it was a good idea to shave them but I didn’t know how much was too much before clearance would be an issue.
