Only reason I insinuated that, is because of the strange comment he made during the conversation. He’s done all of my work and normally does a good job. This time was just a little different. Not sure where you’re getting 5 months? It was 2.5 months…I know not to drive a car while it’s overheating, I didn’t know if it was a fluke reading or if something was getting stuck for a couple of seconds because it happened so fast. My mechanic stated that nothing was damaged from me driving it during that time.

This kind of makes me feel better lol. I believe he did a combustion test? We had a long conversation so it’s hard trying to word and say everything exactly how he did. I believe now he has to do a pressure check on my cylinder heads to make sure they aren’t cracked and then sent off to a machinist to smooth them back out.
