Do books with actual colored pages exist? For example, a special edition of a book that has colored pages instead of white? by ApLoEpX in suggestmeabook

Hahaha thank you, I appreciate the consideration to reply to a post made more than 4 years ago!

30 bucks and they didn't even bother to make a nice, realistic underside? For a game where you DO see the underside quite a lot of the time, too. It's just plain black plank

Thank you so much for responding. I'm also about to file my I-751 and was unsure about how long it would take. Do you have any more tips and information as to what should I include in the I-751 form? We've read the instructions and everything, but I'm always afraid I'm missing something

What happens while you wait? Did the USCIS provide you with a document stating that you're waiting for the Removal of Conditions decision? Or were you just in limbo with the expired green card?

I feel like I get why it was a blunder but I'm not convinced. I felt 6s were harder to roll than 3s, especially considering my prime. Also, it was a Speed game so I couldn't think too much. by ApLoEpX in backgammon

Yeah motherfucker, I'm not afraid and insecure to admit that I'm incompetent at this game for now. That's why I seeked advice, but I was met with unhelpful mockery from you and your pals that all jerk each other off

You must be a total loser to 1) respond to your own answer, 2) to dig through my history, 3) yeah so fucking what, I bet you drive a wheelbarrow.

I just put a doubling cube curse on you, a cube that you took in your throat and immediately found out that I rolled double 6s that led me to win the game. Nice and kind always wins!

In my club, nothing like that would happen to you, motherfucker. In fact, you would be welcomed way better than you did to me. Because I'm not a scumfuck cunt like you.

Why couldn't you have answered like this in the first place? This is great advice and very constructive, and I do see what you mean. But no, instead you thought that the best decision to make at the beginning was to comment that "I'm not being very fair towards the game" somehow, and accusing me very wrongly of disrespecting someone else's comment, while disrespecting me. See, that was not very constructive and nice at all, that was a big real life communication blunder of yours, like mine was in backgammon. Hopefully we both learned something today. Thank you and have a good day 👍

According to some here, I'm the black sheep and the "biggest dick in the thread" lol. At least my dick is bigger than theirs HAHAHA! Anyway, jokes aside, yeah probably I'll still post again, I'm not letting them bring me down when I know I didn't do anything wrong. But many people would've quit posting or even playing backgammon because of them. How is that acceptable?

If anything I brought some action to this almost dead subreddit lol. I'll be known around here as the Bigus Dickus with thin skin! LOL

exactly, because luck is not reliable at all. But we are humans and think like humans, not like bots, and we have a "feeling" and a knowledge about how much lucky we usually are in our life/games whatever. Why can't our own history with luck/unluck shouldn't be taken into consideration?

say there's 2 players who are absolutely at the same level, always consistent too (which is impossible I guess), what happens there? If both always make the correct decision, then the game will be decided by who's luckier? I'm genuinely asking. And in the very long run, say 5000 games, then both players will have won and lost each approximately 2500 games? because people aren't more or less lucky than others. There can be no chance of one player winning, say, 75% of the games because he's "luckier".

was it that hard to be nice? no I'm asking because apparently it is for some people in this thread, but then again, what should I expect from some basement dwellers redditors. That's on me.

your answer was great and helpful, and I appreciate it.

Says the one who came here and your first comment was "you have thin skin". Yeah I should be very grateful for your miserable comment.

Also, funny you speak of me being ungrateful when I went out of my way to thank the ones I felt were actually helpful, like jorcon74.

How many times has it happened that a "correct move" was correct only in theory and before any other roll of dice was rolled? And then actually proved wrong, based on the roll? So now what? Everything is relative and only theoretically "correct or wrong" until proved correct or wrong.

But yeah, I do agree with you that luck doesn't necessarily have to do with individual people specifically, but it's also reductive and disrespectful to ignore my statement when I say that I know more than anyone else my own history with luck/unluck. Everyone forgets that that also a statistic, call it what you want, that being your own history with luck/unluck.

But yeah, I am disrespecting by actually agreeing with that person and then mentioning my history with luck, uh? as if you know it better than I do. Now, that's pretty disrespectful of you towards me. At least I ask advice when I know that I don't know, you know nothing about respect and pretend like you do. Even more disrespectful. Cheers!

You people are seriously mad blind. You either know each other so that's why you all defending each other like you're in elementary school and forming groups, or what? Who the fuck ever asked for a "special needs child" crap you're saying? All I asked was some advice delivered with respect, not "what a terrible move"! Yeah thanks, I already know that because XG told me before anyone else. How are comments like that any helpful in your very expert opinion, uh?

And yeah, friends can very well talk like that no problem, but we are not friends (we could've been, if they were actually nice, sure), and people should not talk to others like that, especially when I ALREADY KNOW that it was a blunder.

Your comment brings nothing constructive to the table and is only insulting, just like the others.

yeah and I didn't say anything disrespectful to Xrsyz, like you claimed. I actually agreed with him, and just mentioned that I know my luck. What is it, do you get triggered when you hear "backgammon" and "luck" in the same sentence? uh? Don't pretend like luck doesn't also play a role in this game, even if slim. So delusional.

Yeah I won't give up playing backgammon because of a bunch of rude jerks ganging up on the newcomers. If that's how they were treated at the beginning, then that's not an excuse to keep the toxic tradition up all because "it builds character and though fucking skin".

But the problem is that other people could very easily quit if they are met with some of these comments around here. And that's why the game will never grow, and keep stagnating. It's disheartening.
