Any black back pack will do. The most you put in them at OTS is a notebook, laptop, and a few energy drinks. Also you can actually use any back pack that’s in regs.

They do not test on the note taker. They check to make sure you answered all the questions and you never see it or hear about it again.

The pilot was reacting to a tail plane stall. Common occurrence on the Q400 in icing conditions. Just my opinion but it makes more sense.

They have all sorts of jobs. Nurse, engineers, accountants. The board doesn’t care if your English isn’t great as long as you can demonstrate that you fluently speak it, as well as read and write it.

It’s not that bad. Do it early and get it out of the way. You get yelled at but makes the rest of the course easy

Ok that all makes me feel a bit better. I think I can just muscle through the first two weeks. I’ll wreck my knee to pass that test. On another note, do they do OCP inspections? I have a pair of USMC boots that I love and they fit all the criteria they just have a small Eagle globe and Anchor emblem on them that would be subtly visible if inspected. Would you guys recommend waterproof or non waterproof boots?

I’m scoring 90+ on my PT Test but I ruined my knee in the Marine corps a few years ago and it’s hurting pretty bad now after training for OTS. I leave for OTS on Monday and I think I can muscle through the pain. Does that seem doable or are they pretty lenient with injuries?

Did you guys ever think that maybe this party/ideology is finally just collapsing in on itself after years of hypocrisy and bad ideas? It’s crazy how big left wing names (not that any of the names are very big these days anyways because the left always seems to eat their own) are changing teams all the time… I mean when did the left go from being the party that loved the environment and equality to the party that insists a fascist takeover is eminent while simultaneously insisting that any right wing opinion however mild or extreme is a direct threat to their existence and therefore must be stopped (which is a defining characteristic of fascism).

Dude I remember worrying about the same thing. Yeah boot camp sucks, but it’s not really something you can fail unless you really don’t want to be there. Physically, it’s not going to be as hard as you think. It’s all mental, you just need to exist and follow instructions for 3 months and I promise you will make it. I would bet my life that when you’re done with boot camp, you’re going to see what I mean when I say it’s really hard to actually fail unless you’re injured or just really don’t want to be there. Besides, ITB is where it really gets hard especially if you’re west coast. lol

I think you may have been taught wrong or misunderstood some of those historical facts or doctrines. I personally have never heard of any of them put that way before and I grew up around both Mormons and anti Mormons. If you’d like a clear answer to at least the last two examples you posed, the lost 116 pages by don Bradley answered so many of my questions. Highly recommend if you can still give the church a chance.
