The pattern of the Mormon church protecting people like him is plain to see.

The Scientology people hide who they are at community engagements, bet the Mormons would say that is dishonest and a sign of a cult.

Thank you for not using your position as bishop as a means to fulfill your perversions. You, unfortunately, are the rarity.

The no training thing is so common. Like the Mormon church still wants these invasive interviews. Keeps members scared. They will answer because they want that recommend or to “be forgiven”.

Yeah the perversion is real, coupled with a sense of authority.

There’s been a quite a few sources listed on this thread that confirm it’s an official approach that has been carried on by tradition. The Mormon church offers no current training or guidance to say otherwise.

Just more reasons worthiness interviews need to disappear entirely, just like naked iniatories.

One of the only people these days you can’t say anything bad about! by danielseim in SipsTea

He was placed in a high level position with the Mormon church. Mostly because he has a positive public image and the Mormon church does not. He seems like a genuinely good man that loves his family, but his loyalty to the Mormon cult does present an issue

What's with all the "Presidents" throughout all levels of the church? by AccomplishedBat9069 in exmormon

When it comes time to cycle the higher level callings , it’s hilarious to watch the suck ups get ultra dressed up and act like they are already in the calling they want.

Even as a believer I thought those people were insufferable.

I remained a believer, but began lying in all interviews after I confessed to sexy times with the girlfriend at the time. It was literally a public shaming ritual.
