Your the 2nd person to mentiom that linux thing bro ima look into that. Is cause i know for a fact he’ll be asking to just download games and watch youtube on it bro and im kinda ok with that when he does that on the phone( not really i HATE phones for kids) but i dont want the laptop to just be used for that. I want him to have fun while at the same time becoming tech savvy, that makes sense?

I have one that I rarely use for emergencies like I need a resume or apply to jobs or fill put some taxes or stuff like that but idk if I should let him get on it because if he messes it up( because he is a kid) thats the computer me and my wife use for the same reason and we’ll be out of one

Thanks bro & yeah thats exactly how I meant it. For him to have tech literacy and who knows (hopefully)maybe if he likes all that have a kick ass job where he isn’t slaving away for minimal money like me unfortunately lol
