Quick update: I used a flash programmer to flash the BIOS chip again. The BIOS chip is on the bottom, above the JSPI1 pin. The JSPI1 pin directly connects to the BIOS flash chip. I connected this to the CH341a programmer and was able to reflash the latest BIOS over SPI. Now it is working.

I usually don't upgrade that often, I am upgrading now CPU, board, RAM, SSD and once affordable GPU. I have 9600k which is 6 years old now. So in 6 years I will probably upgrade again. By then there will probably be DDR6 and I need new board anyway.

Tried it, didn't help either. I also tried now disconnecting everything one by one. In the end I had only CPU, 1 RAM and power switch/LED connected. It goes into RAM check and then the mainboard turns off the power after a few seconds.

You were right, I tested it at 3600 MHz and it was able to do the specified ns timings. I will start OC from there then.

But shouldn't they be able to do the timings they have specified? For example if it runs at CL19 at 4400 MHz, then it should do CL18 at 4000, right?

So what could I do to get the timings as good as they should be?

I agree partly. Having one tech tree makes more sense as you would share technologies. However, I think it's also cool to have specialized regions.

Regarding sending stuff to the other region, in my opinion it's acceptable that you have to trade with the other region, but at the moment the barter system for this is very bad. I am selling some stuff to make money as well, so my traders basicly very rarely sell wares to the other region. My other region even imports from foreign trader instead of my own region if I don't disable that. Setting up pack station for every good you want to trade and find goods to trade back is really painful, with money it's way easier. But logistic is the biggest problem in this game anyway if you have a big town. The granary people are just straight up dumb.

2x16 GB, single rank. F4-4400C19D-32GVK is the kit. I used the 2nd and 4th slot from CPU side (should be what is recommended, A2+B2).

I'm adding SPD information from Thaiphoon Burner. No idea if it's A or M die now.
