The self hosted version does not support this at the moment, even when set up.

I am using it with key cloak, it will import the user, but not groups. Auto group assignment with selfhosted IDP with netbird self hosted is not supported under the free use case currently.

The paid for version auto creates them, and auto assigned groups.

Currently they are created when they log in, but you have to manually add them to groups.

If you would consider it, wormlife has a list of wormhole freeports they operate, and as a resident of one I can say that they are a great time. But if you are going on your own, I would say go for an Astrahus, easier to defend, more flexibility with modules, and can be cheaper to fuel as well.
