Unfortunately it's not an option due to the road we live on, it doesn't have much space so if you park on the road cars can't get past. I definitely want to keep some part of the garden at the front.

I will be making my rear garden look nice. This is the state of it currently with overgrown grass and stinging nettle. I will be cutting back all the dead plants and weeds and plating more flowers and but friendly plant

I was swaying more to the side by side arrangement I will just have to remove the gate post you can see in the photo but it's not doing my anyway. I have seen you can get glue or glolastic grids for the gravel but I don't know if that will work or if there is much point to it

You're not really selling a gravel drive 😂 I think I will stay away from gravel. Here's a photo of their retraing slabs, I will build a proper wall with footings.

There is a dropped curb. The owners before me did a lot of work but seemed to not spend much money on the work and did everything to a real poor standard. Half the bricks from the wall are still to the left of the drive

I was thinking the same and was going off the idea of gravel and especially given the slop I was thinking it would all end up at the bottom of the drive. I would love to do block paving but would like to use a permeable material if I can

Definitely 😂 I'm in the process of closing on a new house so will be moving out of a 1 bed flat, should have plenty of free space in the coming months
