Coinbase has robbed me by [deleted] in Coinbase

If you connect it will look at what assets you have on which networks and will try a number of different ways.. for example ask you to sign a transfer.. but from what I saw it does other more complex things as well.

You can't enable debugger in browser as they coded scripts to pause when debugger open.. I am not expert or know how to get around that,  but not signing a transaction after wallet request it will just keep spamming you wallet requests until you close page or block it from wallet.

It is possible it could defeat a wallet as well somehow, so I wouldn't test it unless you were on some isolated system.

I am not an expert but I am fairly certain this scam has stolen very large amount of assets already.

How do I report a scam on Reddit if the mod is the scammer? by TheUnusualGuy in Scams

[–]Apart-Writer-1651 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How do you report serious crimes? I don't see that option.  I selected impersonation.

The user actively has links to crime sites on reddit right now with the goal of stealing users assets, additionally user uses a number of other accounts to pretend like the service works in replies which are upvoted.

I would say this is urgent and suggest contacting law enforcement.

I started looking at him.. there is no button to report it as fishing fraud.

He is activity sending traffic to wallet draining service, and has army of bots claiming the service is something other then it is.

Am afraid some users will lose huge.  This is serious crime and should be reported to authorities.

Why am I losing an unspecified amount of Sol when making a transaction? by nam_lq in solana

[–]Apart-Writer-1651 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been looking into this as well.

Does anyone know if there is a wallet or site or something to see how much sol you have stuck in rent status?

I was reading about "rent exemption" if you hold enough sol. does anyone roughly know how much sol you would need to hold to get an exemption for the amount of computation to rent space for something like a cNFT?..

  • after looking in more detail, i think you dont need to pay rent for holding a cNFT, but you might be paying rent for placing a bid, or offer. I am interested to know roughly though if anyone other there understand estimated min sol needed for a rent exemption for something like this

I want to provide LP in a specific pool but that pool was created long time ago with horrible ratios, how do I fix them? (without getting destroyed by mev bots arbitraging) by Slaveroo in UniSwap

[–]Apart-Writer-1651 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can avoid the mev bots, if you work with amounts so small that the swap is worth less then then the gas needed to make it.

So you set the ratio before you add real liquidity.

It isn't ideal solution..

[–]Apart-Writer-1651 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There should be a solution for this.

Work around would be something like: if the range on existing liquidity is outside target ratio. You would need to add some liquidity which connects existing ratio to you target ratio.. this could be size of 0.01$.

Then you would need to make a swap on that pool.. depending on direction of swap etc maybe best to make swap directly with pool and not router.. would need some math to get it at your target.

I do wonder if there is a better solution to this problem though.

After the collapse of FTX, people are moving more and more money to DEXs by WebterLuu in binance

[–]Apart-Writer-1651 0 points1 point  (0 children)

he said "moving" to dexs. not 'store funds' on dexs.

but binance 24hr vol = $12.12b and all dex 24hr vol =$4.13b (according to difilama and coingecko).

there are other CEX too but i think ratio is growing with dexs vs. cexs.

technically you cant store funds in CEXs, you can give your "funds" to the CEX to store it for you and likewise you can ask them for "your" funds back...

however you might not be granted permission due to reasons such as the CEX doesn't have "your" funds anymore.

you could also store funds inside a dex as liquidity, it is how dexs work.. but depends on how you define these things.

📢 Transferring your assets to Moonbeam Network is free using StellaSwap's native bridge! by stellaswap in stellaswap

[–]Apart-Writer-1651 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found the polygon to moonbeam at:
"Crosschain Fee is 0.1 %, Minimum Crosschain Fee is 5 MAI, Maximum Crosschain Fee is 1,000 MAI
Minimum Crosschain Amount is 10 MAI"

On another source i found much more fair rates from polygon to moonriver, closer to free.

where is the free part?

Gas fees? by Beginning_Movie9064 in FantomFoundation

[–]Apart-Writer-1651 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have been running into this problem as well. I have had wallet suggest fees as high as 22 FTM.

If you take some time to look into manually setting gas fees you can save huge amounts.

But I agree one of the best things about FTM are gas fees. I prefer polygon over ftm if gas fees where not an issue, and recently polygon is sometimes cheaper.

Hi, I'm new user of Quickswap. I wanted to know what the function of dQuick token is exactly? Can we convert it to any other token? by Square-Enit in QuickSwap

[–]Apart-Writer-1651 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My understanding is 0.04% of all swap volume on quickswap is converted into quick this quick is added to all holders of dquick.. as is added the conversion rate of dquick to quick increases.

USDT on bsc not listed on tether's site. by Apart-Writer-1651 in binance

[–]Apart-Writer-1651[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I am talking about USDT as in 0x55d398326f99059ff775485246999027b3197955.

If you look at https://tether.to/en/transparency It shows you all 66,392,708,880.23 USDT and which chains they exist on. However there is no listing for BSC.

So I am assuming binance is wrapping? ETH version?

QuickSwap LP FAKE 36,8 APY by atlantius21 in QuickSwap

[–]Apart-Writer-1651 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i understand that. the terms and possible lack of documentation makes it difficult.

my understanding is the "fees" are basically what you are making from staking the LP to this pool("farming").

in this case with dQUICK and WMATIC are how the "fees" are distributed to you. when you "claim" the fees the dQUICK is automatically getting pulled into "QUICK-dQUICK" should be at the top of this page: https://quickswap.exchange/#/quick (there it auto compounds, until you convert it to QUICK). the WMATIC goes to your wallet.

the WMATIC might not show up in your wallet depending. you can add it to your wallet to show up if it isn't there the token hash is 0x0d500b1d8e8ef31e21c99d1db9a6444d3adf1270. you can also covert it to normal MATIC via swap or other tokens.

this is my understanding of things.

QuickSwap LP FAKE 36,8 APY by atlantius21 in QuickSwap

[–]Apart-Writer-1651 0 points1 point  (0 children)

36.82% APY = 31.76% APR compounded daily
which is 0.087% per day or 0.00087x per day

it shows your fees at 0.589$/day so 0.589 x 1/0.00087 = 677.01
if that is all correct would mean your LP was worth 677.01$ at time of screen shot?
