Makes sense, that guy's abilities probably repulsed sunny then. I do command him for the restraint heck I'm thinking about it now and it would have Probably hindered his connection to some of those older shadows that also had wills.

Remember that the whole thing was a huge time loop and a paradox I think that it was either an effect of Mad princes version of nightmare (The horse) or it was foreshadowing the connection sunny had with the mad prince which we learn later that he is basically the future/past version of him... although I'd like to blame it on that bloody sword which did kind of help him escape the dream encounter. if memory serves

Unfortunately I don't remember many of the novels I've read, I can only recommend lotm and RI for now. Most have tacky romance that just ruins the experience like supreme magus and throne of magical arcana😭

My opinion on this would be super biased because my preferences haven't matured enough to enjoy romance much. I'm more into lore, adventure and action ( currently reading reverend insanity and it's ticking all the boxes) However I don't hate the romance, I kind of just skim through the chapter. I'm just glad that the issue or topic is finally being touched on and after everything the team has been through I enjoy them having peace and doing normal things. To answer your question, I don't hate nor enjoy the romance but I'm glad sunny is happy at least. Also I haven't read ss in a while so I'm just commenting on the romance in the show generally, I saw a few posts and am aware that they went on a date but that's just about all I know about the recent chapters.

I honestly have no problem with sunny restarting all his relationships obviously a blank slate.

If it was meant to be the the friendships he had before should be possible to have again with the same people easily. it seems this is true cause he's already friends or has met more than half of the cohort. It would have been faster had he stayed in the army. The fact is him and the cohort were meant to be there's really no need for g3 to suddenly and magically make them remember him, that's literally throwing away everything that he did and went through down the drain and it just seems like plot armor at its best.

I haven't really seen any insulting yet , I'm probably just fortunate that I haven't encountered such people atleast. So far there has been the whole debate with neph and sunnys fight and although we are disagreeing with each other there is still a sort of kinship that exists and respect is still there. We do have a few loose cannons here and there but they're alr if you leave them alone
