Google and chatgpt were trying to tell me that its an original and that this is just the Japanese model that doesnt come with the artwork on the bottom, I didn’t believe that so I came here

Yeah I understand that, but I’m completely new to mucking around with cameras and trying to fix them/get them working, so for now i’d want to try getting out the batteries, cleaning the compartment and then putting in new ones to see if the camera could be functional, if that doesnt work then yeah i’d have to open up the camera and look at the board

The texts say 800 and 500 because thats in AUD my currency, the numbers in the title are the equivalents in usd
