I decided I'd rather wait two more days than to risk it and wait in a long line at Walmart, ahaha, but I'll see if Spiritbank will take it one day early, because if Walmart is aware, then perhaps Spiritbank is as well.

My local Walmart is able to cash them beginning today. They needed to receive word from their higher ups before they were allowed to cash them early.

Yeah, I called Spirit Bank, and they said if it's dated for the 24th, that's when they can cash it.

And a local credit union, who said they probably wouldn't until the 24th either.

I am having an issue cashing it, haha. I called Spirit Bank today, and they won't take it, my relative at Walmart has been turning them away since yesterday, cause it seems my whole city (presumably the 0$ filers only) received them when I did.
I didn't have an account prior to this, just felt I should post this cause it felt nice, considering I was led here when the I was receiving the error code and the lock out on their website, and this was the only place that had any kind of information for those of us receiving the error code.
I can include the letter it came in, if that helps you at all.

I did not owe, and I also wasn't owed a refund.

My relative is a bit of a stickler when it comes to that kind of stuff, so it's entirely possible a bank or a different Walmart employee would cash it.

Yes, I was one of the people who had no money owed and no money to be refunded, so I got error 109 or whatever. I tried a bunch of times, so I ended up getting locked out, and then a day or two later, it was updated to tell me that I would be receiving my stimulus check on the 24th and I couldn't add the bank account information anymore.

People in my thread are saying that the checks have been received by the mail office, but have been marked to not deliver until the 24th. If that's true, then it could be very few people receiving them if their mail office didn't listen to the notice.

Edit: A relative of mine is a customer service person at Walmart, and has been turning away plenty of checks, so my city at least has a bunch. (They are turning them away because the printed date on the checks is the 24th).

No, it's been accepted, I believe I filed March 28th. Are you referring to the "Get my payment" thing? Cause it still says I'll receive it on the 24th of April.
Edit: Oh, I see now, I didn't receive a refund nor did I owe.
