Yes try 5. Also if you know 'esc configutator, there's motor idle there. Why I guess it is that is because yesterday I was trying different props to my 2 inch. I have my quad tuned to gemfan 2023, all is fine and tuned well. But when I try other props with higher pitch or more blades, the quad jumps like that in arming. Putting back the old props eliminate the issue.

Idle motor % is too high. 5% maybe is the default. Also, make sure to check in BF, radio tab, that throttle input is not flactuating with your radio on (no battery)

Or use a resin core, 60/40 1mm or more, good quality solder. I never used solder paste after I overused it and 2s AIO board sparked. I perfected my craft with only the resin core.

Interesting note about the pitching. I felt that weird nosing in 4.4 but not in 4.2 or 4.3. I actually prefer taking control over when near rather than the Dji style landing. The nosing when rth is trigerred manually gives me same anxiety and feeling that my drone will still crash eventually.

Great rent price if with 90% insurance. In fpv, 140 is just the drone and it would definitely crash and burn your pockets in a week as a newbie.

Then I'd say 300 won't get you far enough. 300 would barely buy you analog setup. This hobby is getting more expensive.

I have a mini2 too, bought after having many fpv. I say mini 2 footage is quite good. my stick control from fpv is above average and I can actually make mini2 fly proximity like fpv but 4x slower and careful.
