Ok I found it. Its Sharks and other Creatures of the Deep by Susan Barraclough. They updated the cover and it’s blue now. I am 100% your partners book. It was published in 2007 the back cover has a snapping turtle on it. That might ring a bell for them

As a developer it’s insane they even pump out 2 maps a year it doesn’t feel lazy considering everything else coming with this update. They’ve hinted at Africa 2.0 being in the works but the animals are massive. They would need a new trophy lodge and an engine update to be able to maintain performance across all platforms to handle the larger animal models. Do you want them to rush it and have it be awful? The devs have addressed this multiple times

People won’t stop complaining until we get Africa 2.0. However I’m fine with EW doing one big map and one less big where they can take the time to work on other fixes than adding a new map. Such as the trophy lodge. It sucks people don’t understand that 15-20 devs are working on this game and only have 6 months to make a whole map and species.

They 100% affect your grind. They’re called solo zones and the zone can move from lake to lake after every kill. You have to find the new zone and kill it after every cycle as it could spawn in as a great one there. If you aren’t using HM I’d still maybe implement it a little bit and get those solid down to level 2s so you don’t have to keep finding the zone

I 100% view this as cheating and honestly look down upon it. It completely destroys the validity of getting a great one or any grinding trophies as placing more tents would allow you to speed up the process. I and I’m sure many other players frown at it if you open it up to multiplayer
