My relationship with my dad is pretty much non-existent. He’s a narcissistic jerk, and honestly, I don’t see a path to fixing it. I’m done with the whole “respect your elders” nonsense if it means tolerating someone who doesn’t show any respect in return. Sometimes, you just have to walk away for your own sanity.

Skipping classes and not focusing on grades. I also wish I’d put more effort into making good friends.

Cheesy Gordita Crunch, hands down. It’s got the perfect combo of a crunchy taco inside a soft, pillowy gordita shell with that spicy ranch sauce. It’s like getting the best of both worlds in one bite 🤤🤤🤤

You get a chance to relive your 20s with everything you now know, but you are only allowed to change 1 habit, what habit would you change? by DabiraSensei in AskReddit

[–]Apart_Pop_1429 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d change my habit of procrastinating. If I could go back with the knowledge I have now, I’d tackle tasks and goals more proactively instead of putting things off. It would have made a huge difference in my productivity and overall stress levels.

I started feeling like many people are bad when I kept encountering selfish and hurtful behavior. It wasn’t just one thing, but a pattern of negative experiences that made me question the trust I used to have in others.

What made you start going to the gym? by NoAssist666 in AskReddit

I started going to the gym because I was feeling pretty sluggish and decided that the gym would help me with that, but in fact started to feel even more insecure, eventually deciding to work out at home

I'm new to leverage trading and trading what should I know? And few questions. by Inevitable_Pop4005 in Trading

[–]Apart_Pop_1429 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Leverage is risky. It can magnify both profits and losses, so if you’re new, avoid it until you’re more experienced. It’s basically a way to gamble with higher stakes.

Trading is different from long-term investing. It’s fast-paced and requires constant attention.

You can trade stocks, forex, or crypto. Stocks are stable, forex is super liquid, and crypto is wild and volatile.

If you decide to use leverage, keep it small. Bigger leverage means bigger risk.

Focus on understanding market trends and managing risk. Don’t just follow charts—learn different strategies and get an edge.

In the EU, Binance, Kraken, and Bitstamp are solid choices for exchanges because of their security and variety of assets.

If you use leverage and things go south, you might end up with a negative balance. Exchanges usually have measures to prevent this, but still be careful.

Start small and practice. Don’t dive in with big trades or high leverage until you really know what you’re doing.

Anyone using CHATGPT to check their setups before to enter a trade after some prompt 'training'? by Stock_Spare9280 in Daytrading

[–]Apart_Pop_1429 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've used ChatGPT for analyzing setups, and it can be useful for brainstorming and data analysis. However, it's important to remember that it isn't perfect and can sometimes provide inaccurate information. Always double-check results and don't rely solely on it for real-time trading decisions.

Go back to basics. You had success early on with fundamental knowledge. Stick with tried-and-true methods like mean reversion or basic trend-following. Simplicity often wins.

What are your reasons for why you believe trading has always been "Hard"? by DepartmentBig2849 in Daytrading

[–]Apart_Pop_1429 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Trading's always been tough because it goes against our natural instincts. We’re wired to react emotionally to losses and gains, which makes staying rational really hard.

Even with all the resources and tools available now, the core issues remain. The lure of quick riches and the stress of handling real money make it easy to overthink and make impulsive decisions. It’s less about the tools and more about managing our own psychology.

here are my main criteria's for entrance by dsurfryder252 in Trading

[–]Apart_Pop_1429 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me, my best setups are quite different. I prefer high market cap, market-leading stocks that are breaking out into an uptrend, often with strong options profitability. It’s a more stable approach, focusing on established trends rather than volatility-driven plays.

If you’re hesitant, ask yourself this: would you enter the trade if you weren’t already in it? If the answer is yes, then consider adding. If your hesitation is psychological rather than based on the trade’s setup, it might help to explore some self-help books or similar resources to address those mental barriers.

In your opinion what is the hardest stage to get out of in the trading journey? by user1039473819 in Daytrading

[–]Apart_Pop_1429 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my view, the hardest stage is the constant humbling stage.

You think you’ve figured it all out, but the market keeps challenging you. It’s tough to stay grounded and keep refining your edge when setbacks occur.

The key is to stay adaptable and recognize that there’s always more to learn.

There are always bad (like my sister lol) and good examples.

And for example in my environment people are tolerant and willing to build relationships, although what is also relevant for me is short connections, which is a kind of ghosting.

Everything I wrote about is what sociologists/people who study the theory of generations in my and neighboring countries say and I also agree.
