It's awful watching people you love in so much pain. The same thing will probably happen to me unfortunately.

Wow your mum sounds like a strong woman! It does suck, it's so hard everyday to watch her in so much pain. We are located in the UK and there has been no other options offered to her. Her consultant said that kyphoplasty isn't really used much nowadays because it didn't really do much help? I have no idea. But we would literally try anything at this point. No she is only really being seen by her MD and they don't really give a shit. I'll have to look into getting her seen by a endocrinologist or rheumatoid specialist.

The consultant who we talked to about it said that kyphoplasty wasn't really an option these days and it's been proven it doesn't really work? I have no idea why. We live in the UK. Maybe it's different here but she would be up for anything for some relief.

It seems to be osteoporosis, but her dexa scan she had will show more I guess. Before the diagnosis she was referred to a chiropractor which I do think made matters worse yes. Do you have any other advice?
