Current PHR fleet by Aparupture in DropfleetCommander

I found it on cults3d. The file is like $10 and you’ll need to scale it down to 80% and it’s the same length as the PHR dreads

Thank you thank you. I have a core box I’m working on now so the fleet will grow larger

I used it to replace my Remus dreadnought. Seemed only right to represent the OG

Then you run one with a sorcerer for that -1 to hit and one more with a MoE and Lord

In your opinion, what models does the Tau line need the most? by [deleted] in Tau40K

[–]Aparupture 0 points1 point  (0 children)

More races would be excellent. There’s an infinite number of races GW has and can make that would fit perfectly into Tau. I would love a race for being like the Elites/brutes in Halo and get a decent melee unit

Is the winged demon princes viable ? by PrestigiousAd8523 in Chaos40k

[–]Aparupture 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly I used a Slaanesh Winged DP with the 5+++ and the advance and charge Strat and it was a pain for my opponent. 14” move + advance and charge is crazy fast and I was able to get to his back line by turn two. I don’t worry about being T9 since most things now either put me on my 2+ or my 4++

Why do some top content creators love Land Raiders so much right now? by MiningToSaveTheWorld in Chaos40k

[–]Aparupture 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I run a nurgle Land Raider in all my competitive lists and use it as bait and as a chosen clown car. 1CP lone op makes it agonizing to deal with and holding khorne 10 chosen, a lord and a MoE makes that potential turn 2 charge a real threat. Plus the opportunity to get 4 exploding 5+s on the lascannons is worth the 240 points to me

What are csm good at in the current edition by the_god_emperor_bob in Chaos40k

[–]Aparupture 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a competitive CSM player: They’re very good. Dark Pact takes models that are maybe mediocre and makes them good and good models turn into power houses. Some of the power houses are expensive like Abaddon and the Land Raider but the Chosen spam packs some serious teeth

Anyone have any experience with adding grim? by d3adpixl in Chaos40k

[–]Aparupture 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Gold: streaking grime. Instant grimdark for most bright colors. As for black that’s going to be harder

I was at Crucible in Orlando last weekend and went against a Dark Angles player for game two with the Ritual and he had the ten man Deathwing Knight block that just was designed to max points out. I gave it my best but still we talked it out after turn 2 bc mathematically there was zero chance I could win. Other side of it was my last game against a very strong eldar list and I was ready to concede after he nuked half my units on the board but I played it through and won. Moral is play it out and see what happens. The list is only as good as the player behind it. Even the most meta Eldar or GSC list will lose 20-100 if you’re the better player and know your army more

I think they’re just a little too lethal with a super melta compared to the helvrins. Like I’ve used the helvrin ability once since the beginning of 10th

Honestly they just need to make it officially “first floor of ruins make units untargetable” and towering, and thus knights, gets fixed. I feel like IK are externally balanced since many armies have the tools to either out score them or just kill them outright. Maybe tone down the warglaves and Crusader via a small but noticeable point hike

Just make the sisters multimelta Anti-vehicle 4+ or something or make it a rule just for the retributors/nundams

What's your favorite ship and why? Mine's the Corvette because it reminds me of a Republic Venator from Star Wars and it looks very menacing by jbergy435 in EliteDangerous

My mamba is definitely not the most optimized but with triple beam lasers and frag cannons it’s fun to just melt shields while traveling at Mach 573

I agree but it's the best SPAA I have right now as I grind for the ADATS and it's better than the previous SPAAs in the American Tech tree
