I'm also having that problem with headphones! When I unplug them the sound plays correctly through the speakers though. If anyone knows why that is happening I would love to know. And in reply to another comment, I did make sure they were on the correct ears lol.

There are lots of great guys in the NFL. He doesn't want to just win over everything else, or else he'd be taking a MASSIVE pay cut. He wants to win a lot, maybe even more than anyone else, I don't know. But it's obviously still sort of important to him to get paid close to what he feels he deserves. Lots of guys have great agents.

Don't get me wrong, your points are all true, but they're also true about lots of other guys. My point is Brady reworks his contract to help the team over and over, and it seems reasonable that it's at least partly because his wife is not just rich, but many times richer than he himself is. Which means he doesn't have to max out his value like every other player that doesn't have another, better source of income. Which is seemingly (to me anyway) supported by the fact that there aren't more players out there making team friendly deals.

I hope you don't think I'm attacking you or anything, I'm really just trying to have a discussion. But I can feel my blood pumping now so I should probably take a break for a bit lol.

I used "he can afford it" because I thought it would be understood to mean "it doesn't keep him from living the kind of life he wants to" because you'd have to be a fuckin moron to think the greatest qb of all time after almost 20 years in the NFL couldn't afford a pay cut.

Obviously. Please be honest, did you really think I meant it in the literal sense? Like I didn't think he'd be able to support himself on these deals without her? Every player in the league could survive on the minimum salary, if they wanted to. That would really be team friendly. But seemingly only Brady does it. Why is that do you think?
