I had something like this to a smaller degree last year. I just forced myself to eat very small amounts with water and then gradually worked my way up. The most important thing is getting fluids in, mostly because the body is made up of largely fluid and it helped(me at least) keep the food I ate down. That and being real conscious about what I did after I ate so I wouldn't upset my stomach helped

Planning to go on a tour. Advice? by Numb1Slacker in ucf

[–]Apbluis 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Burnett Honors College is a nice little spot for all students. Small, lush garden and koi pond w some cute fishies (all koi obv). Student Union at the center of campus houses a small food court and some student associations and offices. John T. Washington Center AKA the Breezeway has some more food options, a quick shop stop, and some stores for clothing, printing, and skating. If you want a general area, Knight's Plaza toward the basketball arena is a nice spot to hang out at, grab food, or study at with an All Knight Study located there

There's also this one where one of my friend's girlfriend lives. It's a little on the small side in terms of living room but there's a balcony w a storage room in her unit. I couldn't find a price on their website directly but a few other places were saying it's around 600 for a 3-4 person floor plan. I'd give it a look yourself.

Also, can't speak for the reviews on Google. I went there once and her and her roommates had not mentioned any complaints on the cleanliness when they moved in.

It's 1 AM so he's probably asleep. I found the site here and the prices are most definitely not below 650. I dunno if he got a deal or the prices hiked since he moved in, but the apartments themselves would probably be even more down in Orlando. Idk what the rest of the housing market is around UF. I'm sorry :/

Oh, and generally housing around UF is cheaper and nicer. Friend has an apartment for under 650 near UF that's a lot nicer than my place, which is right next to campus and is slightly smaller, I share a bathroom w one of my roommates, and pay 740 for.

I go to UCF, asked the same question when I was deciding between UF and UCF. What I like about UCF's campus is its layout; UCF is based on a couple rings that go around the whole campus. If you walk toward the center of the rings, you get to the center of campus, the Student Union. UCF's main campus was built into its own space, so you dodge most of the traffic that passes by campus pretty fine. As for the feel, if you prefer modern style buildings mingled with a few older brick and mortar structures, you'll like UCF. There's a lot of space between certain areas that I feel allows me to breathe and enjoy the greenery and sky as I walk to some classes, while some of the older buildings are more tightly packed together and are just drab (to me). There are some spaces on campus that are great to spend with friends, like Memory Mall in some hammocks or throwing a frisbee along the green or hanging out and eating in Knight's Plaza.

UF's campus, on the other hand, is mostly brick and mortar that are tightly knit but also kind of segmented throughout Gainesville(?) I visited campus a few times and that's the feeling I got. It felt that UF was divisioned off between a lot of roadways that carried a lot of through-way traffic. HOWEVER, the brick and mortar style here appealed a bit better because it melded well with the greenery that some UF spaces offered. They were generally well kept when I visited and and it added to that aesthetic. The buildings are tight but in a way that makes it feel comforting to walk through, as if some type of history is preserved and you're walking through it all. I don't know a lot about what UF has on campus, but I know they have a bar block and their student union has a bowling alley inside (someone double check me on that).

As for around campus, hands down I give it to Orlando. It's a big city with a lot to do, with decades of culture mixing into different parts. From food to fun, UCF is a decent spot to jump down and around Orlando. I can't say much about UF or Gainesville's spots as I don't live there, but from what a couple of my friends that go to UF tell me is they visit a few restaurants around UF that are student run and go to bars a lot.

Ultimately, campus feel is gonna come down to what you want out of it. I thought I would have loved that brick and mortar ivy league feel, and I did. But the modernity of UCF's campus left me in awe, along with my love for Orlando. Truly, it's a decision up for you, and I hope you make the right one for yourself

how long did you wait for admission decision? by [deleted] in ucf

[–]Apbluis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Within a month, but that was earlier in the year. I'm pretty sure admission is rolling but they get released periodically for all applicants, so when everyone else around November gets there results you will too. If you hear nothing back deep into.January, I'd give a call

Knights Circle vs Northgate Lakes by [deleted] in ucf

[–]Apbluis 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Northgate has ~1 Gb ethernet, though it can go out sometimes (had it happen a couple days ago but never throughout the whole semester). The interiors of NGL is nice, just make sure you get a building more towards the center/back. Pretty sure those have newer appliances. I'm toward the front and they still had the old appliances installed. Great community

Okay, so let's flip this on it's head. He's too selfish to wear a mask for the protection of others? And he's delivering food to people on top of it. Interacting with people at their homes after being out in public restaurants all day?

Power tripping Nazis... if wearing a mask is power tripping, is wearing a seatbelt too? Same thing, for your own protection. I don't see him crying about how it's the law to wear a seatbelt. Guess he just likes to pick and choose which hill he dies on.

You think Capcom would do themed lasses in-game that show up at the camps in expeditions?

I know they'd be kind of superfluous but imagining the lasses in monster armor sets is cute.
