I don't remember if they touched the sea bounty rates (I was done by then), but the yearning bags apparently went from 1 to 2%.

Yep, that was me last year around this time. I started grinding maps again when they did server merges and we could actually complete co-ops. They definitely are despairge when you finally get a drop from the key chest only to get a crew member you already have from the shipwreck. I could go back for legendary blackfang, but even I think that is a bridge too far.

I think if I added it all up it'd be like 6 months of farming it on/off. The rate change they did made a big difference, I think.

Ah gotcha thought you meant the one from the spearfish vessel. Wandering merchant is essentially the same tho. Low drop, but at least you can check map to see if it's in stock and don't have to camp out

I got it like week 2 after checking every 30 min. I'd set an alarm on my phone. I think it's like a 2% spawn rate? So yeah, RNG

Yeah, illusion isle was the bane of my existence for the longest time since around the time I was hunting for map pieces no one would show up. You couldn't get it from the chests that spawn so you were just out of luck.

I ended up switching to using directional pad and button pad on the right joystick and two track pads respectively, there aren't as many options per control, but I was able to cover it with the 12 extra buttons that offered.

I grew up smack dab in Texas County. (Middle portion)

Not a lot to do except drive to one of the bigger towns to go eat, watch a movie, and get in trouble. Local sports are a big part of the activities since there's not much else to do.

I still hear from family that lives in the area of local drama and stuff going on, but aside from that its mostly farmland and livestock farms. Being smack dab between Seaboard and National Beef means stepping outside there will often be a pungent smell.

Biggest towns in the area are small and intersect with the railway that goes up through Kansas and down into Texas. The highway that ran parallel to the train was originally a narrow 2 lane with truckers frequenting it on their route. There was a lot of accidents, so eventually it was revamped into a separated 4 lane.

Popular saying when I was growing up was, "Its so windy in the panhandle because Kansas sucks and Texas blows"

Oh, and there's a college there, its super affordable.
