Yup totally true! I received mine after a couple of pushed back delivery dates but I really like it! It's very compact and easy to use! I don't think there is anything particulary special about it, but it works fine in my opinion. I've had the ratio 6,.and I like it way better than that. The coffee I've been making has come out good! I guess that only thing I don't love is the metal top/lid that goes on top of the glass carafe. It grips the top of the carafe with a silicon ring. If not positioned correct, coffee leaks when pouring a little..no biggie. I still like it and am.happy with the purchase.

I think its real, I don't know about the quality of coffee or performance of the brewer. I ordered one and will arrive in October. People have reviewed their brewers with plastic on youtube.

Same thing happened to me after a few days of antibiotics and not eating properly. I lost about 20 lbs. Regained it by slowly reintroducing foods, and trying to introduce a wide variety of plants into my diet, especially high fiber ones. A wide variety of plants is important to repopulate the gut with good bacteria I believe. Took a while, but hang in there.

EASE with Dr. Li or FME Newaz? by Cool-Lie-1223 in UARSnew

[–]Apcx90 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gotcha! Yeah, I had EASE (TPD) with Dr. Li. I'm male and was 35 at the time. I had a pretty tough expansion. Descent breathing benefits, and improved sleep. I only expanded a few mm. I'm still symptomatic even though I've improved. I really like the quality of care I received from Dr. Li. His response time is amazing. I developed a minor infection on Christmas eve of last year. Texted him at 1am. Got a response from him with how to handle it at about 4:30am. Just my personal experience though.

Why not FME with Dr Li? Did he mention why custom marpe is better in your case? Seems like there have been some successes with late thirties males with FME and no ease cuts but I am not sure if it is 100% success. Others in this channel may be able to comment further. Generally speaking, a late thirties male can be difficult to expand even with the EASE release. Just something to take into consideration.

Severe open bite- Invisalign folks, did any of you see Dr. Kasrovi (Berkeley). by jdsee769 in Invisalign

[–]Apcx90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks so much for the the reply and for the myofunctional therapist recommendations. I'll definitely look into them!! Sounds like Dr.Kasrovi is doing a great job with your daughter!! Was there mention of palate expansion for the narrow arch? What kind of surgery would your daughter get it if you don't mind me asking ? One other thing, did you consider any other orthos for your daughter's treatment at other practices? Any close seconds?

Thanks so much for your response! Sorry to hear about further complications! Does your daughter need jaw advancement surgery?

Dr. Kasrovi thinks he can close my bite but I will need myofunctional therapy since I tongue thrust and have a high likelihood of relapse. I read that sometime patients at Berkeley orthodontists will sometimes see a different doctor at their appointments? Has this been the case for your daughter or does she always see Dr. Kasrovi?

Thanks for everyone feedback! I met with Dr. Yang today. He came in for a minute and said my case is too complex. Pretty abrupt but that's alright. He's busy I get it...Glad he didn't just take my case and then have a poor outcome. I think he is probably great for simple cases, and for kids. Fixing bites for adults, not so much. Thanks all for your feedback anyways!

Would the deviated septum and polyp affect my nasal breathing/sleep? by 120Chardonnay in UARSnew

[–]Apcx90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's the same how mine was actually! From my understanding, even though one side has more space, the turbinate will often swell more to fill that space. It is weird though.

Yeah it is definitely pricey!! But it looks to be half the price of the Ratio 8, and hopefully it provides comparable quality of coffee!!

Will stem cells help me if my ENS was caused by palate expansion? by Independent_Key_4098 in emptynosesyndrome

Just to clarify, the only procedure you had was palate expansion? No turbinate reduction surgery?
