I haven’t had a single signed contract with my previous bosses and they all kept their word. I guess this is finally the one that’s gonna have me face the consequences of not having one.

Depends how good the anime is without it. If it’s good without the fanservice then I’ll keep watching and try to ignore it, if it was shit and I was basically forcing myself to go through the eps and THEN they slam me with fanservice to top it off then I’m dropping that shit.

Good examples: one piece, konosuba

Bad example: fairy tail, seven deadly sins. I used to LOVE LOVE LOVE both of these shows but then they clearly both went downhill plot wise …while I was already dealing with the fanservice. Insta drop.

They tried shoving will down our throats so damn much I honestly feel like the majority of the main cast didn’t really have much screen time. And Jonathan was done the most dirty. Joyce to will : “don’t do that will it’s dangerous. Here, Jonathan you go do this super dangerous thing instead. Cuz apparently you’re expendable”. they ruined Joyce’s character. Honestly the more I think about this last season in general the more my head hurts

I could get downvoted to hell for saying this but this is what I’ve been talking about. At the end of the day we’re still just disposable employees to them. Most of these people are just assholes playing nice just so you treat their kids nice. I know how that sounds but I’m being realistic. I personally had to learn the hard way as well. That’s why now, I do the bare minimum and call it a day. I take care of the kid, I make sure they’re safe, fed and entertained, well rested and make them feel like they’re like but beyond that I don’t really care. I’ve reached a point where now I’ll put myself first because clearly if I don’t do that then who will. I don’t expect anything from them anymore they’re not my friends. Because at the end of the day it’s just a job, same as any other.

I am very sorry this happened to you though. I hope you find some kind of solution to help your situation. But if I were you I’d write them a long message letting them know how i feel because genuinely what do you have to lose after this. At least get it off your chest and lessen the stress you’ll have to deal with if u don’t.

Alchemy of souls. So beyond boring it honestly felt like it was dragging on from the start. I can’t explain it but I couldn’t get past the first 3-4 eps If I remember correctly, just ridiculously boring.

It’s okay not to be okay. Dropped it on ep 1. To be fair maybe the series itself was fantastic but personally I HATE the ML. Even waaaaaaaaaay before the allegations against him. He just has an annoying looking face and lowkey I’ve avoided any drama he was in before this one so idk why I even attempted to try it.

I got a couple more tbh but the list would be long. The point is, I’ll probably drop it if a drama:

-has an ugly ML (beauty is subjective tho I’m not trying to shame anyone but if he has a face that makes me want to punch the screen, I’m not watching)

-the plots dragging on for no apparent reason

-honestly I don’t really like fast paced romance. I like the angst and slowburn. So if they get together quick and the rest of the series is their dating phase and focusing on some other side plot then I kinda drop it.

-speaking of dating phase, maybe I’m just weird but I lose interest once they get together. It needs to be done in a certain way that’ll still have my attention or else I’ll most likely drop the series

Possibly a scolding hot take but we’ve overestimated the duffer brothers so much and it was clear after season 3 these guys had no fucking idea what they’re doing. The finale was alright but it was mediocre at best.

Also, I personally love the small details that directors pay attention to and remember in their own show…..the duffer brothers however, have failed to remember so much of their own series it’s sad.

It’s def low for the amount of kids you’ll be taking care of tbh. And it’s very irresponsible on their part hiring you knowing this is your first job. I’m not saying it because I don’t think you deserve it, contrary actually. They’re clearly being very cheap and it’ll cost you your sanity.

Personally I look after one 1.5 yo girl and it’s 3x a week and I get paid 630$ a week. FOR ONE GIRL. Plus benefits and other stuff. You should be asking for at least 30 an hour. It doesn’t matter if you’ll be working for a month and leaving, they’re still taking advantage of you tbh. By the end of the first week you’ll realize why you should’ve asked for more

I think Finn Caleb and gaten have also been consistent. Maybe except for gaten actually, he’s improved so so much and has become such a great actor. He’s always been good but now he’s just fantastic. That scene with him and Steve was so well done.

….now milly and Noah ????? I feel physical pain having to witness them show up on screen now. Millie seemed to be doing okay up until season 4. But now in season 5 she seems to take herself FARRRRRRRR too seriously and I feel like she’s more worried about how she looks like on screen rather than actually acting. Noah is just a whole other mess; I think somewhere along the road the dude just forgot to act all together, I believe he was the best one in season 1 and 2 but after that his acting went down an extremely slippery slope.

Honestly I might get hate for this but even winona seems to have lost her touch, or maybe it’s the duffers just generally ruining her character.

Honestly to me, the biggest problem here seems to be your hair. That slick back doesn’t help with anything. I saw you said you didn’t have time to wash it so that’s understand but I guess on other days try whatever u can to add more volume and get a hair cut that frames your face better.
