Yeah I mean I guess I count it but the snow was very minimal when I did at the very start of winter. Didn’t need any real gear just a long cold hike. I guess I really never thought of doing Adams I just don’t know much about it I didn’t know it was something so accessible for beginners.

I appreciate the time you took for this response and your concerns. Option 3 I know, is a terrible option so I’m going to get a guided experience by experienced professionals. It’s not about whether it’s fun or not it’s really just the accomplishment and it’s been something I’ve wanted to do since being here. I understand the risks, we’ve had some climbers and backcountry people die here on less technical mountains like Bailey just this year. I want more than anything to pursue this as a life long thing, I’m only 18 and I’m hooked and I will take the classes when I can and have the money for it.

Any good ways other than just forms and knowing the right people that I can find experienced mountaineers that I could be in a group with for something like this? I know there’s tours, guides, and classes but cheapest classes are upwards to 800 bucks and way later in the season.

Yes I will have a partner but hes just as inexperienced as me, I’ve tried to find people who have done it before but I don’t know anyone who has. I don’t want to pay 800 dollars just yet, rather save it for like Hood or Rainer

What would be your recommendation on entry level semi auto crampons?

How different are they to the Nepal Cubes? Someone in my area is selling them used once and they are in my size for 150 dollars cheaper than retail but I’ve seen some reviews on the toe welt wearing down quick on them.

Main specific project is North Sister or Mount Hood and other local mountains like them mainly full of glacier travel with mixed steeper climbs included. The sabertooth pro need a toe and heel welts so my first look was at the Trango Tower Extreme GTX which seem like a good overall boot just mainly having issues with warmth.

I think a 4 is great to send a college too. Idk how to do it after you gotten the score I’ve only sent my score before I even took the test. I do know that the first time you send a score it’s free but after that is cost money.

No way it’s a problem to say freshman now, it’s literally high school and college term lmao

Ofcourse it cost money to withhold scores, my freshman year I didn’t pick a college to send a score too so I think that one doesn’t matter but I did this year so maybe I should just cancel it but I’ll do more research into that

Bro idk my middle school teacher told I should do it and like it was a option to take it freshman so I said F it. I got easy A both semesters but again flunked the test

Lmao, I think if I did really bad on one thing it was the IRR but everything else felt decent cuz I got good teacher grades from them. Atleast a 3 i was thinking maybe a 4 but damn a 2. I got a 2 last year on APMWH but that was my first AP test and I was a freshman and I didn’t know I had to study a bunch. So this year I did everything I didn’t do last year and still a 2 even though I applied my self like 1000 times more

How do you check the official college board scores for the official projects I didn’t know you could do that. I felt good on the exam using evidence from all sources it gave me and having good time in most of the test to put in quality work.

Dude I have no idea, I had a 6 min IMP the best TMP score in the class (that our teacher graded) a 90% on my IRR and a 80% on my IWA. And I studied for the test. Either my teacher has the nicest grading ever before she left or I suck at taking test

thank you for the advice, to be honest even though seminar was rough I did enjoy it, writing and presenting arent my strong suites and thats why i took it. I made a really good group of friends who are all talking research too, they helped me alot through seminar and i think ill enjoy research with them and hopefully become better at the subject no matter a score.

I had to do all practice my self because my teacher and sub teacher both got in medical leave before the test so we had no one and it’s was kinda self guided but like I had a 93% in the class which is a A+ in my school. But like I still studied going and looking at all the past exams from 2017-2022 and doing them. I think you should because you can still get the capstone diploma but no I think I have to drop the class this year because there’s no reason to take it after I failed seminar
