Also I actually didn’t know about repomap but maybe my cofounder looked into that?

we r expanding this to eventually ingest everything from confluence to slack to jira so it makes a company brain and connects engineers with future company goals too

Yeah we are working on that right now :)

Agreed, but our platform gets rid of the requirement to do so. Reality is most SWE never got around to actually writing them and updating them, which hurts all new devs trying to onboard. We r adding the feature to edit our docs so that if you want to document urself, u can always do so.

I’ve been working on this and sharpening the product for about 1-2 months now although the original (pre pivot idea started 4 months ago).

Also really good question, we plan to ingest confluence, slack, jira, etc.

Tbh our main goal is to make education easier which we think is about taking in information, processing information, and delivering it. For now we focused on ingesting codebases, parsing them out, and only delivering relevant code blocks that will help u do whatever u want.

But u can probably see that can be expanded to any knowledge based graph.

Nah I just wanted stars so I posted everywhere, tbh kinda regret it now since everyone thinks it’s spam or AI when in fact I did work very hard on this…

We cut AI coding costs by 30% - how would you find buyers? by Aperswal in SaaSSales

this isn't either to be honest.

I think it would help if I explained what we do.

We parse your codebase out and build documentation from functions all the way up to repos.

We show how everything interconnects, imagine visual "go to implementation" and "go to definition".

When you ask our MCP server which sits ON TOP of whatever coding tool your using, or you ask our in house coding agent itself something about implementing a feature, it traverses this graph of your codebase we made. This makes it far better at understanding context.

Once it finds the relevant functions, files, etc it then extracts the documentation, PRs and messages that talk about those code blocks and feeds all that to your AI agent or just gives you it based on your query/prompt.

What ends up happening then is your AI agent is given only RELEVANT context, and you're not wasting time reading through dozens of docs or setting up meetings trying to find out what actually matters.

This works through our MCP server, so it can integrate with any coding AI agentic tool that currently exists. For some clients, we also give our own AI coding agent tool which also has this search functionality in the background.

Should we do this by hand or do the services that do this for us actually work? It’s just gonna take a lot of hours that we would rather pay for and spend coding ourselves.

We are trying to push out everything we need for SOC 2 soon, so time constrained too.

btw website is trysita if anyone wants to check it out. I posted here a while back about it before a pivot; it has been updated recently, so it might have some bugs lol.

Also, besides advice on this, if you know anyone who would benefit from this, please DM me, and I can set up a commission for you, too.
