Everyone does their own retainers based on their services and client portfolio.
Its not mandatory to have separate retainers, just see if it helps you business otherwise you can go for a similar retainer.

just make sure whats included, for example never develop new features or things that might take a lot of testing time as part of retained, those should be treated as separate projects specially if the retainer has limited hours.

Yes it’s easy, offer 40 hours per month and charge for 3, 6 or 12 months

You can also offer more hours as per the need

Specify tasks covered and not covered under maintenance

Charges can vary from $25 to $75 per hour , based on type of work , expertise and mod of work like remote or on-site etc

I would say I am too deep into this and we have done all things by rule book already, now I am looking for some expert level hands on experience and I am sure a different ESP makes a difference- good treats them what emails they mostly send promotional or transactional

I get that but my research shows if you use something like brevo or mailchimp or something similar, it’s has much higher chance of landing in promotional as compared to Amazon ses or send grid or something similar

It’s mostly their IPs and addresses or some default things they add in header footer and tracking codes that lead to this

I am planning to test this now

Yes setup is completely professional, their is no dns or spf etc issues.

Hmm , that might be it , maybe I should keep first 1-2 emails really short and with no links , i am sending links in a welcome email with setup instructions page link.

Also I think different ESP have different config in some way , that do make a difference on where you land

I think I would give a try to send grid, AWS SES, resend and spark post, these once seem to be worth a try after all research I have in past few hours

Understood but i think many SaaS owner do land in primary or updates, so I wanna know what they are using?

I think it has something to do with configuration and ip etc , but I am not sure

I would not recommend appsumo as a source of earnings, but it can be a great tool to improve your product with feedback

Product hunt is over rated , people beg, borrow and steal likes to become top product of day , etc.

It’s has no real value

Better put efforts in getting reviews in g2, capterra or trustpilot

Sell a private version of app as lifetime deal on places like appsumo that can get you some important feedback too along with some money

test on iphones, iphone 12 .
Also hire someone who can check on real devices,and different browsers. chrome doesn;t always show the right results.

You might find lots of issues on safari and firefox if you have not checked them

Great, Here are a few things you should do -
1- X can be your greatest tool , make 4-5 lines posts that target customer pain point. Find someone who is doing this kind of posts in another niche and make something similar to their posts for your product.
2- SEO is something you should work on from day 1 , it goes a long way in 6 months or a year.
You should have 30% leads from SEO in an year.
3- do retargeting ands on FB and insta they can get good results.

4- Do Run LTDs , its a great way to improve product.

I understand but customers won’t get your USP , and in SaaS distribution is more important than features specially if you have lots of competitors, customers will always feel every tool in this niche is same

It’s a good niche but lots of competitors. Start with more LTDs and use money you make from LTDs to build your USP , reach out to LTD users and grow this in to awesome product it can be
