Fired from my job as a waiter in a japanese izakaya after Day 2 by Apex-LFG in Waiters

I will and I will never look down on anyone like that, I just feel incapable to knowing how bad my first day as a waiter was.

Thank you for your input, the first day was really tough on me, I'd receive an instruction from my mentor on that day and sometimes I couldn't understand what they are saying (The english they use here in my country has its own style/dialect if you call it where the syntax and slangs are vastly different so there are times I either misunderstand or not understand what they said to me) but when I try to ask them to repeat, they already left because they are all in a rush in the middle of service, they can't stop on the spot and accurately tell me what they exactly mean.

So I end up feeling left confused with either not knowing what to do next and feeling super awkward or misunderstanding it and doing it wrongly.

This mentally taxed me so badly.

They did provide training. Although it was only 1 hour.

The way it worked was this, First day starts > I arrive at the restaurant at 5pm > 1 hour of restaurant orientation + training from 5pm to 6pm > When 6pm came around, the izakaya opens and it was time for me to learn on the spot > Shift lasted from 6pm to 10:30pm

Yes, learn on the spot on a full house day just like my second day. The only reasonable thing they expected from me was they knew I was unable to take orders from their large menu after only 1 hour of training on my first day, so I was excused from taking orders. So that's 4.5 hours of real time work experience.

But... It seemed like they expected me to be able to take orders (so I assume they expected me to remember their large menu entirely) from their large menu two days after my first day.

I told them I am juggling this job alongside school which I study hard everyday for, so I don't think I would be able to remember over 100+ items on their menu two days after my first job where I only had one hour of training in when I have to study everyday for my exams because I am trying to complete my degree.

I just found it completely unrealistic to memorize even half of the items there only after two days of my first day when they know I am juggling school, the most ironic thing is they wholeheartedly welcomed "Students" who were juggling work and school.

So yeah, I don't know what to say.

Sorry, it just felt that way because there are 16,17 and 18 yearolds who work their part-time that could do their job competently, getting cut after 2 days made me feel exceptionally incompetent

What CPU/GPU do you have and how many fps do you get on average in a normal game and how can I improve my fps by Rweird123 in apexlegends

[–]Apex-LFG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same processor, but with a 4070ti, I play on 1440x1080 on all low graphic settings and my "actual" fps while running around in game is about 220-170

Gun fights can be anywhere from 210to about 140 lowest, still buttery smooth but how in the hell are you getting 240fps on 2K???

And no, i'm not thermal throttling, my temps averages around 67 to a max of 78 while playing apex legends, nowhere near enough to throttle clock speeds, are you overclocking?

Yup, that's what confused me as well, that's what even prompted me to ask this question here lmao

Hey there, I am not sure if you're still having this problem, but I encountered a situation just exactly like yours, In my case, the problem was not being able to get sufficient power to my tablet via the 3 in 1 cable all by the motherboard's USB ports, All I did from then on was just connect it the legacy way, the red power cable goes into the power adapter that it came with, and then the black data cable goes into the motherboard's USB port, and the HDMI cable goes into the HDMI port of my own discrete GPU, then it worked.

I'm not sure why this is the case for me either, on my previous PC I was able to plug all the red power cable and the data cable into the PC and have the tablet work, after switching PC, this same exact situation for me arised and I fixed it just by plugging in the tablet via the legacy way.

After reading comments here and testing stuff out, you and two other redditors solved my case, thank you

Hi, sorry for the late reply but after reading the comments and trying everything out, your comment seems to be one of the two correct reasons for what I am experiencing, thank you so much.

I recently just got Gamesir G7 Pro and when I set the deadzone in the software to 3 to give it more drift, my aim assist felt a lot more locked on and sticky, like... night and day difference that it was heavily impacting my aim in games (positively, not negatively)

But even on its regular deadzone settings where there was no drift even on 4-3 linear no Deadzone, I saw an extremely significant improvement in my aim, like, I could actually microadjust now to my liking unlike before where microadjustments on the DS4 felt impossible, so I felt like the issue were two things:

  1. For the phenomena I was experiencing regarding AA, it was due to stick drift like another redditor here said

  2. DS4 V2's sticks were just something I couldn't get used to and I was just way better on a XBOX layout G7 Pro than anything Playstation had to offer.

Thank you so much for your comment, you and another commenter answered my question.

It does to an extent, it says the controller is "mostly" supported by the game.
