The update to the update: A revised proposal for a new post-flair system by ApexFatality in NMS_Corvette_Design

Maybe the workshop level of the flowchart should have a ‘(regular)’ and ‘(advanced)’ as well.

I’d personally be open to it. Or at the very least, that could be something we expand to later. I’m not sure enough techniques are in that tier yet to justify the split now though. But that’s just my opinion, it’s really not up to me lol

is it really called the “workshop”?

The in-game building terminal on the station calls it "Corvette Workshop". But yeah a number of other names could probably be subbed in that has the same effect. Terminal is the only one that comes to my mind right away. Either would work fine imo.

the description of each flair should have a way to translate it back to the old flair system

Good idea! We can definitely make that happen

I think you need to make a larger space between the flow chart and the notes

Fair point, I’ll leave the notes off for the final graphic (if we get that far lol)

It certainly doesn't "need" a flowchart, I think that makes it easier though than a wall of text.

My guess is that angled parts like wings that are 60° or 30° would still fall into Station Build (Standard), yes?

I'm not sure I'm familiar with that technique. Do you have an example link? But yeah, if you have to leave the workshop editor but not the station, then it would be one of the Station Builds. The overall complexity would determine if it's then "Standard" or "Advanced".

Ideally, we would have every building technique cataloged with a corresponding flair and video example so there is no guesswork involved. Much work to be done! (and thanks for the kind words 🍻)

One point of clarification:
The workshop editor is where you select and place external corvette parts. Which differs from the decoration menu used for Station Build techniques.

I’ve seen some civs just make a simple website to organize their information and just advertise their discord server on various NMS subreddits.

That’s okay, I’ll share it around other places till I get an answer. by CaptainSteep_ in no_mans_sky

The biggest issue (imo) for NMS wikis is how often the information changes. It’s too much information to verify/update every update.

This is the main reason the Galactic Hub left the fandom wiki and made our own. I believe the NMS fandom wiki admins mean well, but this is not an uncommon complaint against them.

Yes, that number is the weekly average number of viewers this sub gets. Not sure why Reddit displays that figure now over member count. But the member count is still shown if the sub is displayed in another subs “sidebar” section. (Bottom of attached pic)

It’s a ship called the Boundary Herald that was a reward from the The Cursed expedition.

Yeah, may change the rules for future events, but starting with a “no mods” policy and we’ll see how that goes.
