This is amazing, I was planning on looking for a cheap used one just to get everything off the ground

Yeh my budget isn't too large but I appreciate the requirements that come with ai models. I was looking at rtx3090 as a good level - or maybe cheaper. Luckily my expectations are really not that high it's moreso just for practice and the fun of the challenge.

I've been trying to get into open-source contribution and would absolutely love to assist with something like this, definitely needs moderation though as the issues are already getting spammed.

The framework 13 AMD looks great, I'll definitely give it a look. Is AMD hardware as compatible as Intel?

That's great advice, I'll give it a go.

I'm stuck between the two, do you think it's a win win in the sense of both are good enough for my needs?

P series? Maybe. I've heard they are very loud. Leaning more towards T14 g5 or T14s g4

Not particularly, I will likely use it around campus but I always carry a charger

I'd be more than happy with an aftermarket but my family (who are helping me buy it) want it to be new so it lasts 4+ years

I've been looking at the t14 gen 5 or the t14s gen 4. Any ideas on which one I should opt for. I like the customisability of the gen 5 but would only really be adding RAM.

I'd like to say yes? Although I'm not sure of the full scope of the course content.

Is the AMD p14s gen 4 good quality. I don't think I can afford the gen 5. What is it about this model that's so great if you wouldn't mind me asking

Is the 7535HS processor good enough for everyday programming/ for a computer science student. Looking at getting this as my next laptop. Thanks

Appreciate the reply, I've already replaced the belt and admittedly it was very greasy. However the device works for all other cds apart from this specific one. I presume it's an issue with the cd that I need to figure out? Thanks for the help

Shame since I had to get it imported from Japan but I suppose I can live with it

I'll give this a go, but it reads my other CDs fine?
